No to losing by 100+ points again!

Our (Portland FIght Penguins) Team Owner is the only one that can make the decision to drop. I think the going down to AAA would be good for us. The one thing that being at pro level, ourdefense developed hella faster than the offense. Much more playing time .

Oh, and to keep with the awesomeness of some people.

I've been approached via PM by two different teams asking if the Heroes want to move down. The guys on my team don't want to move down just as we're starting to compete. We'll have the offseason and early next to add more talent and we'll compete.

At the start of the season I asked about dropping down because we were playing with levels 1-4 against the established teams...and even then we didn't lose by triple digits. The thing I didn't take into account was the quality of people who would sign on with the team. The guys who are Heroes right now came to climb a mountain and they're 1/3 of the way up now.

To ask us now that we're staying within a few scores of some of the top teams (now watch us get waxed in our game today) if we want to drop down to a lower league is an insult. We're getting to the place where we'll surprise some teams and the guys on the squad are looking forward to doing just that. I won't take the chance to beat the odds away from them in order to balance things out.

it's admirable that your team wants to push that sammage, and mad props when you succeed in toppling the big dogs....

but personally, while seeing if we can hold the opposition to less than 50 points is fun, i'd prefer to be able to compete than to be a free statboost for other teams, or pray for the longshot underdog win

Only 3 teams have scored more than 50 on us all season. In fact since week five only one team has scored 30+. The Hitmen beat us down for sure, but we did almost as well as the #7 ranked team in the league against them the following week.

We'll be in the middle of the pack next season. Guaranteed. We'll be better than that if we get some breaks and some good FA signings.

After todays game vs the AAA champ from last season who had at least a few players boost prior to the game I still think we can compete. We played as well against them as the #7 team in their conference did the game prior. We held them under 40 pts despite being outleveled across the line by about 6-7 levels. I think we can close the gap by next season.

The fact remains that you can't change the rules on people mid-season. You need to announce that a new rule will be in effect NEXT season if you want to change things.

Stop whining about a situation that you knew was in place when you signed up.

We scored more than 7 of your previous opponents. Since losing big to Taiwan 7 games ago you've allowed 21 points total. We scored the average amt of points during that span against you despite your defense outleveling our offense by an average of close to 4 levels.

Your offense vs our defense was even more lopsided with you outleveling us 5 levels, yet we played as close as most of your last 7 opponents did and much better than those with the similar w/l ratios to ours.

Do we have a long way to go? You bet! Are we competing? I think we are. We got closer to you than 8 of your opponents during the season did. You guys have a great team, but we belong here at least as much as those 8 teams. Or do we claim that those 8 teams also deserve to be relegated because they couldn't stay close to you?

If it's against the way the admins want things to run...then yes, it does make it wrong. Apparently you can't come up with a reasonable argument so you have to try to insult him with sarcasm.....nice work.
