This is true. There are a damn good number of "hicks" in Nebraska, but the majority of them live west of Lincoln, really more like west of Kearney. There isn't shit in western Nebraska.

No, all of the corn fed fatties I saw were close to Omaha when I was there for the college world series.

Nebraska is like two different states. You have the flat, barren ranch land out west and the cord fed farm boys in the eastern half.
