Also, I asm not sure what was proposed by Billsman was colluding in order to beat them ( although there is nothing wrong with that. Teams trade game films and notes all the time in real life ) but he is trying to organize a protest with the game admins.

I could be wrong tho.

Yes, exactly. I wasn't talking about our teams trading players instead I was saying that we as owners, gm's and players need to take a united stand against the things we see as possibly destroying our game and teams. We all worked too hard and too long on our teams and players to let this happen.

We do that by getting the mods and admins involved as well as others owners, gm's and players. This is your game and you deserve the right to voice your opinion.

Shacky, did you see this post by Yard Dog earlier in the eastern playoff picture thread? Take a look at the links that he provided, I think they are the reason why people think the Speed owner is unethical.

Yea and Richmond Speed was able to get rid of several of the banned boys and add a lot of talent??

Doing the math, they roughly pay out 124,750 a day for contracts... times that by 14 pay days left.... = 1,746,500 for salaries to pay out yet. They only have 1,151,712 currently. So they are going to need some nice concession sales and home field advantage in the playoffs to pay these beefy salaries.

I don't know where these Richmond guys found all these players, but he's been real busy. WOW signed about 38 high leveled players in the last few days.

Edit: Just gonna add a few links that I am coming across...

I agree with this statement.....my issue was calling another GM a cheat and the reason used was the trading of banned players which I think is clearly not unethical.

I actually had some issue calling the cheatanooga GM a cheat as he really didn't do much wrong in the situation. I have (had) more issue with the GM who gutted his team and allowed the 10+ players including himself to become FA's. I do believe the cheatanooga GM knew what was going on, and that he did have some wrongdoing.

Thanks, that was a very reasonable response. I did see this post, and I agree his finance situation is concerning. He has been VERY active...which is a good thing no??

I have no problem with him trying to trade his banned players, and actually think its good of the owner to step up after many of his players got banned and try to rework that team with the commodities he had to deal with. I'm assuming he was innocent in the dealing that got those players banned. He may in fact bail after this season leaving a bankrupt team....but how can we determine that? He may instead be trying to win it all while he has a window, and then will use that same determination to rebuild.

We don't have enough information to persecute the guy at this time. His post stating that he has guys that are unhappy with their playing time included not only banned players, but some that aren't banned. A later post he put them on the trade wire and stated that they were inactive and he'll trade multiple guys for one giving a good but inactive player to a bad team in need of help. I think thats a smart way of rebuilding a team gutted by a bad hand when a ton of players were banned.

We should keep an eye on it yes.....if there is valid reason why the banned players should have been removed that should be taken up with the admins........if there is valid reason why the team owner should have been removed as a result of the banning of the others, i have yet to hear any reason why. There is no valid reason for persecuting him however for trading banned players, there is full disclosure and nothing unethical.

it doesnt say banned on the player card, its on the owner profile. thus it would be a lot easier to miss. though if you dont check an owners profile before trading for somebody youre pretty stupid

still he was misrepresenting the plsyers at various times as simply being unhappy with playing time. not illegal but certainly scummy. and yes, if i were trading inactive players i would always state exactly what their status was. my conscience wouldnt let me do otherwise

i personally only brought up richmonds stockpiling because i wanted to make people aware so they prepare against it. so far theres been nothing done that warrents taking the team away. but if he doesnt get a lot of money coming in soon hes going to lose the team anyway

This guy accidently signed about 40 players who all got banned because of multiple accounts?
There is now way this guy was innocent.

that may be the case, but wheres the proof? His involvement in the banning of those players is a legitimate question IMO. His trading of banned players is not.

actually, i think this might have been a recent improvement. I had a backup SS that i noticed said 'banned' on the owner profile. I kept him on my team for a bit as I couldn't find a suitable replacement and later noticed, if i'm not mistaken, that it said 'banned' on the player card too.

EDIT...just looked and maybe i'm mistaken. it is solely on the owner profile. I thought for sure it was also on the player card. oh well...i agree it's also important to check the owner prof. to ensure they have been active.

as someone who did nothing but sign a lucrative free agent contract i think this open collusion is neither fair nor representative of good sportsmanship

He is referring to the fact that they have 6 GMs.

Well, if they only have one available to gameplan for tonights game they might need it!

And it is possible to outsmart them, even if they are six, just take a look at the Mole-Rats vs. Golfers game
