You might want to do that you can't vote for your own team as #1, like in college football.

that seems fair

Where did you get this idea? Coaches can and do vote their own teams #1 in college football. Also, with how few voters we have, I think that kind of arbitrary rule could really skew this poll.

Eastern Europe Pro League Coach's Poll

Alright fellas, the playoffs are upon us! Aside from Prague, Sheboygan, and Minsk, everyone else shifted one way or another. As per usual, after the top 4, there's a bit of a dropoff in total votes. Well, with 12 hours or so to go before the start of the playoffs, I give you the final Coach's Poll of the regular season!

Team - (# of 1st place votes) - {Last Rank} - [Points scored]
1) Prague Punishers - (5) - {1} - [50]
2) Sheboygan Chaos Theory - {2} - [43]
3) Rome Gladiators {4} - [39]
4) Sarajevo Reapers {3} - [38]
5) St. Petersburge R.A.R {8} - [26]
6) Silesia Miners {7} - [22]
7) Washington Chairmen {5} - [17]
8) Kazan Golden Horde {6} - [15]
9) Budapest Brawlers {NR} - [11]
10) Minsk Koats {10} - [7]

Also receiving Top 10 votes
Cincinnati Tigers[2], Moscow Montsters [1], Chernobyl Mutants {9} - [1] , Rockford Warriors [1]

Washington over Kazan is a travesty IMO. Kazan beat them H2H, had a narrow loss to a much stronger Zeta opponent, and didn't lose their last 3 games in a row. They also have a better looking roster. I put Kazan #5 on my ballot and didn't rank Washington at all.

I guess it will get settled tomorrow though.

The really interesting part of that is that one team was left off of one ballot all together, as another one was left off another. Crazy-go-nuts

Alright guys! Season 3 is just a couple days away and the Tec-9's have the right idea. They just sent me preseason rankings! I'd love to get these completed on day 1, so I need your Top 10 sent into me by Wednesday noon central time.

Do the new teams get to vote or do they have to win a game to earn that right?

If they do, I think the fair way for us to do it would be straight up order of last year's standings..except we'll do a little Spurrier and rank Duke just ahead of the last place team.

You, sir, are allowed to vote any which way that pleases you. I'd like for your vote to allow you to sleep at night, but reality is, it doesn't have to...it's your vote Just PM me your Top 10 when you get some time...before noon tomorrow

But I'm not a coach.

In EE, at least.

You don't have to be. So long as the owner is ok with you representing his team on the coaches poll.
