It's not too surprising. WEPL doesn't have any teams that are both topping a conference and winning other Pro/tourney games. A couple WEPL teams got votes though I imagine Cardiff will receive fewer after today's game and FFFD if it keeps winning will garner more. Bonn has a good scrimmage resume, but yet we dropped our first two league games.

we play a team from the list in three days, if we beat them i expect maybe atleast 1 vote ha

Yea, BFM advanced to the 32 team bracket in PWT though..

Were about to get killed againt Cincinatti though , that won't help our cause.

Being involved with Cardiff I am surprised to see them get votes. I suspect that could be more because people think Welsh is a good guy (if only they knew! ) than their actual performance. Getting to 4-0 was great but Cardiff aren't dominating Zeta by any means.

In think one of the reasons WEPL don't get too many props is that they competition here is very tight. Teams from about 1 through to 12 in each conference could beat each other on any given day so it is very very difficult to dominate for long periods of time.

mainly WEPL doesn't get votes is cause most the committee knows nothing about WEPL. Therefore when they make their rankings they go solely off of standings, hence Cardiff getting votes when they shouldn't have gotten any.

Right, but BFM, like Bonn, has some league losses holding us back, plus you guys lost 77-3, albeit to a top team, but it doesn't look great.

The committee has expanded a lot in the last couple of seasons. The WEPl contingency has been pretty quiet this season, but it includes:

myself - owner Bonn Dynamo
ksychic - owner Black Forest Mercenaries
Joebarber - owner Rivals Mainboard Pimps
Nuge20 - Graz GM
Jayadamo - owner Hattgenstein Volunteers

I even posted in there that I wasn't sure there were any WEPL teams that would really qualify for top 25 at this time. The Cardiff and FFFD votes came from elsewhere. FFFD only made it onto one ballot and Cardiff made it onto 3 and one guy even had Cardiff in the top ten, so it's clearly an imperfect vote, plus it's early and some teams are riding off of their reputation and will drop out.

WEPL doesn't get a lot of votes because when we play in these tourneys we get trounced a lot.

Tbh, we don't get a lot of votes for 2 reasons...this league is REALLY competitive (there is no outstanding team) and the teams that have competed in tourneys have gotten smashed.

That 77-3 loss was the sickest thing I've ever experience bro...

I PMed Stobie right after, and now he's our OC lol.. so if we get an offense anything close to Drinkin' WEPL is finished..

The talent level of BFM isn't much inferior to Drinkin' either, our 4 speed WRs have opened up the O's passing game. Once we get our run game working, as it was non-existent against Antwerp, we'll be back full power

In years past, not talking about this season...where for you guys it's the opposite good scrim record and poor league record (so far)
