Well this freaking sucks on so many levels.

It's really sad to see someone who obviously cares a great deal about this game calls it quits under these kind of conditions. Best of luck RJ.

I'd have to agree 100% with that, as well...I honestly see this as a loss for GLB. As a whole, GLB is divided mostly into 2 large groups: The Bort Can Do No Wrongs & The Bort Can Do No Rights. I always saw RJ as one of the much, much smaller group located in the middle. That group has no desire to bash the shit out of everything Bort does, but also isn't afraid to point out the flaws in GLB and desperately wants the game to improve. They also won't sit there and apologize for every mistake Bort makes, but do give credit when credit is due. In other words, that group wants to try to help improve the game and has the guts to try suggesting improvement when they can, always at the risk of having both of the infinitely larger groups bash the holy hell out of them for trying.

IMO, we lost one of the good guys today


This is a good post. I don't agree with everything rj thought, but I respected that he cared and thought and worked for it.

GLB sucks due to the changes in the past 2-3 seasons. I don't blame you from your choice.

I would say that at least doing this would open the MVP race up again, but apparently even the method for calculating THAT is whacky in some fashion because despite having 2300 yards and 29 touchdowns through 3 games, Hugh is now only in second place.

-Good luck to all of you who choose to stick with GLB, and to all of you dedicated to it's continued improvement. I personally may believe you are fighting a losing battle with an obstinate and clueless programmer, but I do hope you succeed and one day will make GLB into a game worthy of it's brilliant concept.

This is not a game for people with integrity tbh , it's full of exploits(yes all games have them) , cheaters(muti's abound) , bad game mechanics and the only reason most won't leave is because of the cash left on the table. This game needs a restart but that will fall on deaf ears like all the great suggestions to keep the money flowing that go unheard/unseen.

This is a great game and I begrudge no one who quits because honestly I think they're smarter than most , me i'll cut and burn till the flex is gone or the game restarts. One day the dream will unfold hopefully.
