6) Remove the DPC until it is fully tested. Its evident that whomever was "supposed" to be testing it wasnt. The Cover HB -> FB -> TE - > Blitz is broken and along with the fiasco yesterday....the game is not ready for it yet.

7) Along those lines....all Changes made to the live server should go through 48 hours of testing on the test server. Then the info should be analyzed by qualified people and then the fix can be loaded live. Things like yesterday should never happen.

8) As Mofo said, the elusive back pathing has really never been right. If the back has a clear path down the sideline he should not juke back into the defender or run out of bounds. This happens on SE, 75, 50, 25 Elusive running style. So its not the slider.

9) How many kickers can put the ball in the EZ on kickoffs consistently? Not that many. How many kickers can make FGs of 50+ yards consistently? Not that many. The way Kickers work should be completely overhauled. Confidence, while nice for a kicker, should not be a major attribute and DEFINITELY should not make a kicker kick a longer FG than the AI allows.

10) Finances. I agree they should have an overhaul as well but I havent worked through a completed version I think would work better. This isnt as far off as some may suggest and the current version may work with some slight tweaking.

hazy- I have a suggestion that might be helpful:

FIX THE DAMN DEPTH CHART RESETTING BUG I REPORTED 4 SEASONS AGO!!! Support has had their thumbs up their asses on this one, and I finally gave up after finding a workaround. I have another team that's having the same problem.

Issue is for some reason right before a game sims, the depth chart is getting reset (like someone is pressing reset depth chart). Only 2 people have access to this ability on the team, and I guarantee we aren't touching it. Thanks to this bug, my Level 1 Kicker has only gotten 100XP last few games, instead of 500 like his teammates since he gets moved down on the depth chart or removed. Other players on my team get their plays cut and are getting screwed.

I've given up on trying to get it fixed, support just blames me for the problem, or says "Bort will look at it", and then nothing is done as its dropped into a bottomless pit, like any other real issue that is something other than changing someones name.

We have a couple farm teams that we've been using to farm money to try and pay the bills but since tickets wont even sell at $2 in the league they are in I can sign you to one of them and go 100% FGs so you can get super xp if you like to make up for the depth chart bug.

/yes, GLB has come to this.

it's simple & is the most obvious decision to make at this point.

Elusive backs should have the sense to avoid the DEs when space allows, instead of cutting up right next to them and being tkled 90% of the time they do.

Returns needs to be fixed, and it's not an issue of dedicated returns teams. This is huge, IMO. Every KO that isn't a TB is being returned to between the 35-50, and that's when they are contained. That occurs with teams with and without ST specs on the return team. Hell, it even happens when they aren't using good blockers and going against a coverage team stacked with coverage specialists, amped on speed. For every return brought out to the 50, there should be 3 or more stopped on the 20 or less. I honestly can't even remember the last return that was stopped inside the 20. It just doesn't ever happen.

None of this will matter unless all the fluff is taken away. I'm sorry Hazy, but I tend to agree with TSE. Absolutely none of this will matter anyway. Bort will do what he wants to do. He flat out said that in his GLB radio interview. Unfortunately. he likes all the bells and whistles and they aren't going away. Because they add a complexity he can't handle, nothing good will come of any of this. As a matter of fact, odds are even better that anything he tries to address here will just make things even worse.

Flat out, he needs a real staff of professional programmers, testers (no offense) and support staff. That none of that will happen either.

I think the CB's over aggressiveness isn't bad enough to fix it. a couple INT's on badly thrown balls is realistic. afterall that's the risk/reward you get from having detailed player tactics. i've seen CBs fail to make the catch and get burnt.

Thing is bro, it happens on non aggressive coverage.

few ideas:

- undo the season 6 protector buff. OTs have adjusted and other changes have hurt DEs. protector buff no longer makes sense.

- change coverage distance to a slider with 100% stick like glue being similar to super elusive, triggering a 'dont even look at the QB' mode that tries only to shadow their man and isn't susceptible to pump fakes. close coverage would give a vision penalty vs spying the ball/QB and reduce reaction time for PDs, INTs, and breaking coverage.

- add a vision check to see if defender is spying the ball/QB, related to the above slider. if not, pump fake has no effect. similar to current check when pass is thrown.

- change loose coverage style to go for the tackle asap, rather than first allowing the catch. i don't think anyone uses it currently because the defender backs off and allows the catch to be made. let's make it a viable setting. ie close/loose would become the 'overmatched and dont want to f up' setting. also an option for strength/tackling DBs looking to get on tom jackson's you got jacked up highlights.

- credit closest defender with a hurry when ball is thrown away, assuming a defender is within some reasonable distance

- incorporate hot routes, 3 step drops, and 5 step drops. penalty to WR vision if pass thrown early for their route.

- get shed block closer to how it worked in seasons 1-3, where it would propel the defender around the blocker. it used to look like a swim move. now it looks like a standard broken block.

i guess far/loose would be the dont f up setting, but i hope you get the idea. something for the CB on an island who's more concerned about a tackle than PD, but doesn't want to just give up the catch.

This is one of my biggest concerns. ST's wouldn't be that bad if we didn't have teams running around with 70+ players on them. Make it a realistic 55.

Oh, 1 more....If the QB is going to throw the ball away, could he please not throw it to the other team and have them return it for a TD. This may be a Shocker curse, though. We always seem to find a way to hand them 7 off a TO to start every game.

Teams wouldn't have 70 players on it if special teams didn't require so much energy. The suggestion to tone down the energy on special teams was suggested a million times before teams had to adjust. If you have two players at a position and one of them is on special teams he doesn't get many snaps playing defense. Nobody wants there guys running on special teams just to take up energy.

The special teams VA just amplified the problem.
