Well, even better than I thought.

The odd thing is that the only kicking game fumble was a fumbled punt by Chicago's HB Steve Blazer that we took for a TD.

As I said in my previous theory: energy wasted when running the ball was increased. So, returners with low stamina are fumbling often on kick returns, because they usually are only hit after running 20~30 yards.

A fair catch slider would be a nice option for a returner.

Ball shouldn't be fumbled as much as it has been happening recently IMO.

I'm willing to bet you weren't even talking about me, but you win the bet....

Cooter entered todays game averaging one fumble every 79 carries over the course of his career... Though last season that number was one every 144 carries...

Todays "contest"? 1 every 3.5 carries... As far as attributes go... strength at or above 100..... carrying at or above 64.... confidence at or above 48..........

Maybe with Attribute VA's taking a huge dive..and other Va's not to the liking of some..they could have invested in ones such as sure tackler..or JackHammer..Which I think would increase the number of fumbles right?

At the same time, and correct me if I am wrong. But wasnt there something about RB's and such being slowed down as they went through the pile? The amount of hits they take going through ending off with one that puts them down could jar the ball loose..

I think we were both talking about this -

But yeah, that's insane Cooter fumbling that many times to. How people can deny that the fumbling issue is out of control this season is beyond me.

Pretty clearly it's Power Tackler... I just wouldn't think the effect would be so huge on pretty well-built power backs....

Whatcha think about the fumble issue today Luzod?

San Diego TD Kickoff by Lefty One-foot, 63 yd, fielded by Jamiro James[forced fumble: Tim Dobbins], fumbled , recovered by Sledge Rock, PAT made by Lefty One-foot [TD] (34 yd return)

San Diego TD Kickoff by Lefty One-foot, 64 yd, fielded by Jamiro James[forced fumble: Sledge Rock], fumbled , recovered by Nightmare Castillo, PAT made by Lefty One-foot [TD] (36 yd return)

San Diego TD Punt by One Leg, 57 yd, fielded by Jamiro James[forced fumble: Tim Dobbins], fumbled , recovered by Crazy Train Olshansky, PAT made by Lefty One-foot [TD] (39.5 yd return)

2 Kickoffs and 1 punt. And then for good measure

San Diego TD Hambone Humperdinck rush[Big Hit forced fumble: Stuffin Puffin], fumbled , recovered by Cujo Hellspawn [missed tackle: Electric Force], PAT made by Lefty One-foot [TD] (100 yd return)

Another ignorant thing about this imo is the high assed percentage to which fumbles are RETURNED for TDs. It's one thing to have high fumble numbers but how often in real life are fumbles actually RETURNED for 6?

I agree with you here, but this is a blocking issue. I made a topic about it damn long ago, but nobody gave a damn.

I also don't think it's broken still. Well, back in season 7 they forced 3 fumbles on us. I think it's more about THEM than about us.

As for record, I agreed with Pierre when he said return specialist SA should give a bonus for avoid fumbles.

Also, working on our returner.

GODDAMNIT, JUST ADMIT YOU ARE PISSED ABOUT JAMIRO FUMBLING 3 TIMES! lol

I think it's weird because they only fumble on kickoff!

All I'll say is that for the 2nd game in a row, my returner didn't fumble. We had 1 HB put the ball on the ground once and that was it. In the first game, we had 1 fumble and that was my fault for putting someone as a backup returner that shouldn't have been there.
