Good game Jams....For the record, we only started tinkering with the gameplan today, so I am not willing to listen to all the foolish defenses being made for our (lack of) effort and levels by other members of the league. We will show up this season, rest assured. NBA Jams, you are a solid squad, and we bow in your presence....for now. Best of luck to you and everyone this season.

It's not all that dire now. Most of your Fortune 500 companies have their fair share of sociologist grads working as research analysts, and they can make a decent career at it. Believe it or not, sociology is relevant in just about every field of business and branch of government out there today. I can believe that only 23% of sociology grads move directly into sociology fields, but there's really no trouble finding jobs as a teacher, social worker, or other help-oriented fields associated with social programs, and not to mention literally thousands of researching/analytical positions throughout a multitude of fields. There are many jobs, while not sociology fields, employers tend to favor sociology grads in hiring.

If you're going to college simply to make money afterwards, then no you probably shouldn't major in sociology. But sometimes people have a higher calling than money. Just as some people are seemingly born to be athletes or musicians, or in your case businessmen, some have a natural interest in sociology. In my case I was always more the philosopher than sociologist, but each passion seemed to feed into the other. So, while i'll admitt gladly i'm not the richest man in the world, i'm content with my life and can honestly say it's a pleasure to go to work each day.

Hmmmm... Well I work with hi end sales / marketing people everyday. My team is made up of many people who are very despicable, snake oil salesman think there priorities need to be refined. That being said, its all about chasing the Benjamin, and being retired by the time I'm 50, and having homes in Belize, and NY. Summers in NY, Winters in Belize.. I suggest you marry a Women who comes from wealth my friend!

I sorta was referring to the 87 degree tropical paradise and the most luxurious, beautiful scuba diving within 8k miles of USA. Lots of bugs there that is true. But for the price of 2 million you can have a dream home on the water, and live like a king. Give and take my friend. If I win the lottery, or figure out a way to steal $5 out of every man, woman, and childs 401k/Savings fund, then I will be retiring in Bora Bora, otherwise Belize is a much more realistic goal!
