Likewise, I already have an idea of whom the MVPs should be, but I think the last few weeks of the season could change this, so I'll keep it under my hat for now.

That's a damn good idea, I'd be willing to help with making one for the East, the West would have to do their own.

we should make it like the MLB where at least 1 person from every team (no matter how bad the team) makes the squad

So for anyone who isn't doing the MVP, can help me with the Pro Bowl team....hell the Pro Bowl team would be a hell of alot harder to do than the MVP.

When are we cutting stats off (which week) for pro bowl voting?
How many players at each position?

I was thinking we could do the following system

Release a Top 5 for MVP list and have the people in the league place their vote for who should be the winner
The commision can tally those

Then the probowl team:

2 teams 1 player at each postion except WR where there is two

It is kinda like the all american team, first team and second team. I think this system could be effective
It would be literally impossible for us to tally probowl votes so i think the commision should choose the probowlers

Shouldn't there be 2 CBs and 2 DEs and DTs also?

I thought JAD was going to do the Pro Bowl, with some help from people not on the MVP selection committee.

As for MVP, I think it would be good for each owner to submit their team MVP for both offense and defense, then we can chose between those.

ya i meant only on offense 2 WR

but i still do think the commitee should hold votes for MVP and decide the pro bowl roster

i really like this idea

cornerbacks is gonna be a hard position to justify as amvp or all star.

Some cornerbacks make 100 tackles a season, lil int's and alot of pd's.
Some corners have almost no tackles, lil int's and alil PD's

Which is better?

i state this cause for some reason some CB's are labeled in teh game as a shutdown cornerback, the other teams wont throw that way during sims.

Tackles for a corner mean litle, it usually just means you're getting beat or your owner has tactics which provides short routes all over you.

As far as MVP I don't agree with the everyone voting thing. We got the 4 members handpicked who I believed are unbiased and if it came down to a tie i'd decide. I think it's fair since each person on it is an Owner/Influential GM here.

I agree. With everyone voting you would get a lot of guys voting for their own player, or team mates.
