Try telling every single team in SA Pro that Tackling isn't important for a CB. Just try it. If you'd have a CB in SA Pro without decent Tackling, Cobra Kai would kill you because of their ridiculous outside rushing game.

Douchebags that don't care about team wins and only care about their own stats, go ahead and ignore tackling.

Your hate for CK blinds you to the fact that he made a good point. When you play a team that runs outside ~75% of the time, having CBs ready for those runs is important. It's going to be less important now that the D play creator will be functional for Season 9 and since it looks like CK gave up their 100% run experiment.

Out of curiosity, what's your suggested build for a level 50 CB, sans equipment?

sans equipment is without equipment, so base.

props to kayoh for posting a realistic build, and one that would make a good CB depending on SA/VA/equip.

Would you care to explain why?

Because I'm not sure that that build is even possible to achieve--even if you did you'd still be ineffective as you'd have absolutely no VAs. Capping tackling on a CB is a really, really bad investment.

Yes, it's possible. I'm very close with my under level 50 CB, and I could attain that if I spent/would spend a few SP's differently. Plus, he wasn't even slow built properly.

VAs are not affected by how you spend skill points.

Capping tackling at level 27, like your CB is, is a bad investment. When you run out of stuff to train, training tackling to 48 really isn't that bad.

He meant SAs. Capping tackling is a bad investment. With SPs. maybe if you want to train it there go ahead, but strength and confidence are better. The only attributes a CB should EVER spend SPs on is speed/agility/vision/jumping/catching IMO. You NEEED SAs. SV and CD are fucking amazing there is no reason not to get them.

You left out 1 s.a. that makes your corner uber.

2 if you count shutdown coverage.
