I just want to point something out regarding CB's

Looking at # of tackles is a horrible way to determine who's a great CB. If you're a great CB a QB won't even consider passing to the guy you're covering. See Harry's stats, for instance.

His tackles are horrible, but if you go look at the reviews, it's because his man is buried, not because his man is getting away from him.

Unless u actually go back and watch every game to see where the CB makes his tackles, u cant just assume that. Thats just an easy thing to say for CBs who are garbage like the one you mentioned. Some tackles come from Special Teams, some from running backs that run to the outside, some from tackling another players guy...Like for instance Reakwon jackson, hes got a shitload of tackles! But according to what youre saying, is that he sucks..

That was just through the 1st quarter and half the 2nd of todays game..I could do that for Every CB for every team...it happens to everyone, my point is you have to consider the amount of tackles a CB has too.

You're right, he is an exception, but..no offense to the rest of the Knights, but the reason why Raekwon is an exception is because he is a good CB on a very mediocre team. Go look at the highlights of their game vs the Vikings for prime examples. It's like putting a super LB on a poor defense, he's going to wrack up huge numbers not because he is exceptional, but because he's picking up everyone else's slack.

Anyway, that's the exception, not the rule.

Not as a stat to point and look at "hey, he's better than your guy!" Sure, tackles are better than getting burned long, but I'd rather have a CB who has 20-30 tackles a season because no one in their right mind throws into his coverage.

And you may think Chinko got burned on that play, but historically he intercepts those passes
