Edit: Of course, some of that has to do with it being tougher and tougher to make our team and having fewer and fewer positions I feel I need to upgrade. This, absolutely - just about all of our new players are coming from agents already on our team, cuz there was some serious garbage out there

Our biggest additions were keeping the vast majority of our players. The FA market is slim picking and if we actually lose people it is doubtful we find an upgrade.

I've actually been authorized to find some replacements for Painmaker's players on roster if they are comparable or better then what we have now. But yeah...what the rest of you have recently said. Not spending hours upon hours looking, but from what I see is not impressive.

Well there should could be a lot better ways for GLB to make the recruiting process more efficient for the non-top teams, with different ways to sort and research players. I mean c'mon we still only have a folders in the Players Looking forum for Level 26 and up, how tough is it to get a few more sub-threads? Things like that are just very simple to add in, should't take many, many seasons to update that convenience.

I haven't bothered to recruit off that forum for god knows how long - 9/10 players there are attention whores with average builds

IMO, the forums needs to go away in favor of an improved marketplace.

That's fine too, but whatever is proposed, the only thing that matters right now is that the current system is terrible. There's a dozen things that could be done to make the process more efficient and more fun and interesting.

Let's face it. We're all so spoiled it's not even funny. We play in the most coveted league in this game. Ppl want to play for us and we can afford more and higher lvled players, because we're able to charge more for tickets. It's the teams that play in AAA, AA, A & BBB that get screwed. Unless you're friends with the agent that has a good, high lvled build, or the agent is a stat hound (which you don't want anyway), GL getting someone that's both a fair high lvl and has a good build.

It's a little complicated looking for an OC to replace me in a high profile job such as this. Or maybe I'm so out of the recruiting game that I'm clueless. Entirely possible
