ive been patient with Bort's changes throughout the seasons, but if he doesn't get gutted teams out of the Pro League before the season starts, i'm going to be royally pissed off. should be one of the simpliest fucking things to do

I guess we didn't complain enough last season when they had gutted teams not removed last offseason and now they are still here. WTF?!?!

Hey guys, I'm a GM with the TBPs, and we need your help.

I got a reply in one of the many threads from Bort, and he said he would look at our situation and get something worked out tomorrow (day 43). I'm not sure about the other two CPU teams, but I'll let him know about them also.

What we need though, is solid teams that want to move up. Moving teams down requires moving other teams up, and this is the major reason Bort hasn't shuffled vertically in the past (it's a headache). So in order to rid the Pro's of CPU teams (and let the TBPs rebuild), we need to find three AAA, three AA, and three A teams willing to move up to the next league.

Please reach out and find some teams that want to move up, and post them here.


Your help in this regard is very appreciated, because JT is out of town, and this has caught us by surprise, since we were under the impression that all the teams would have the league shuffle option, not just the bottom tiers.

Post this post that you just made in the AAA sub forum, the AA sub forum, and the A sub forum, and you will get 3 teams

Pongers might be interested. I hate to switch conferences but we can't stay in AAA forever

I asked Stobie to pass it on to an admin yesterday, but erm somehow it didnt make it.

Anyhow that team has no chance of filling all of its roster in the offseason and doesnt belong in a Pro league.

There are some other teams that took big hits, but at least they have like 80% rosters, I can handle that, but this team has maybe a 25-30% roster and will just be more 255-0s

Can we get that done?

And since Im like the only one that cares about my region, is it possible that someday I get whitelisted? I mean .. Ive only been my unofficial region rep for 7 seasons now.



I'll handle Pro related stuff later (I've got a couple to deal with) - tonight was all lower tiers only.

I've gotten PMs from three AAA teams interested, so this is looking very promising.

I'd still like to get some AA and possibly even some A teams interested in moving up a slot though, so our team, Nintendo Power, and possibly the other teams trying to rebuild don't screw up AAA.

Do we know if the owners of those teams did what they needed to do? Not trying to start any trouble. I mean it just doesn't make sense. How could we get moved down and those others not. We had the same kind of roster all CPU guys. I am not taking up for anyone but it seems like we could pass the blame around more then to just bort.

I think the crux of the problem is that there were FIVE teams with CPU players in Garuda. Normally, only the bottom two in each conference move down, so two of them did move down, but three did not. But I'm really not sure. For us (Nintendo Power), we just mis-understood the league shuffling, and thought we would also be able to request vertical re-shuffling. It turned out that was incorrect, so that was our fault (for misunderstanding). Oh well, we're trying to fix it now.

Please don't misunderstand me, I'm not trying to blame Bort. To the contrary, it seems like he's going to great extents to fix it. It's a shame it needs to be fixed, but it is getting taken care of.

yeah there is definitely some onus on BRU, JT and vburnette to give Bort and co a headsup. As he said, he's not a mindreader. Nor, evidently can he put 2 and 2 together and matchup support requests with their respective teams.. a skill most 5 year olds learn....

but anywho, have the garuda owners/GMs and concerned players PMd BRU, JT and vburnette to make sure they are doing their part?

JT is leaving without internet today. I've contacted BRU and vburnette and they are both on board. Again, I'm sorry for the confusion, but I'm trying desperately to make the best of an unfortunate situation.

Nintendo Power should definitely get moved down since they have no body.
The problem is with the other two teams. Looks like BRU is either trying to rebuild HCMHM or use them as a place to store his players. They have lvl 50's so although they will get destroyed they won't be moving.
The Guild of Calamitous Intent has low 40's so there is no reason why they don't belong in AAA (not to mention they only have 4 players)
