Oh, so it is not an exploit then if countless people practically begged Bort to fix it to the extent of taking the play out of the playbook for the playoffs? I define exploit as something that is unstoppable, or impossible to stop. You define it.

Because Graz broke my definition with their victory. So if it wasn't actually impossible to stop, why did everyone else (including ourselves) have trouble stopping it. I have to chalk it up to bad game planning.

Maybe I'm just used to being on the Meatballs, where everyone gets a say on what we do and how we do it and has input no matter their gm status, or their depth chart position. Weird.

I do not understand all the whining aboout "cheesers". They did what they thought gave them the best chance to win and that is all. Winning is fun and losing is for losers. This is a computer game and not a "simulation" so whatever works and is within the rules is good AFAIAC.

Yup, technically you've got me there, one day from about 5pm local time to maybe 11am the next day. How truly horrific endless bitching! Pardon me for needing some sleep, or I might have been able to keep it to one day, I'll try next time.

Still does not change the fact that several of your teammates (explicitly not including jprietman ) kept harping on about it for several days after that.

And nice definition of an exploit you have there, my guess is that you'll still be in the minority if you look around GLB with that opinion, but maybe that is just me.

First of all, Iīm the owner of the Destroyers so not get confused and Iīm only speaking about the Destroyers in this post.

I didnīt complained about losing to I & slam about their use of the strong I slam, it was more about the timeout bullshit in this game and most of all, that the game was so boring that I skipped every offense position of I & slam forward.

I posted several times that I didnīt like what they have done, but at least they where man enough to stand straight up and say - we are doing this cause that is our only chance to win. For that move they get my respect,.
I donīt like this approach and seeing the same play 61 times is killing my fun and thats the biggest point in this discussion, not about winning or losing, it is the fact that I donīt like to see the same stuff on every play. And when I donīt have fun with something that Iīm doing than I start to think about if this is worth the time I spend, cause I have not enough time to spend it with something that gives me no fun and is boring me.

My complainment where about Stockholm and the silly posts how good they are, how great their WR are, how great you are in setting up game plans, that they can beat anybody and that didnīt have changed anything in your game plan and so on.

Almost every post from almost every Stockholm player, GM, owner was more or less the same, repeading this stuff over and over again, praising your own cleverness and greatness and so on, begging for respect, calling people who didnīt want to give you respect for abusing the AI crybaby (like you have done it today).

That was my main point in the whole discussion, not winning or losing.

In the end Iīm happy that Graz has won the title. And before I forget, gratulations to them, no team this season deserve this title more than them.

Maybe you should do what I do, and just stop arguing about it. I think its blatantly obvious that the two sides are at an impasse (have been for quite awhile now), and now all of you guys are just arguing in circles and its all so fucking pointless, if you ask me. The sooner that people stop trolling and flaming, the sooner we can get this game playable again. Obviously Bort is fixing the cheese factor with the repeat play penalty, so who the fuck cares?

I'm only responding now because I just hate still seeing my name all over the place when I stopped discussing this topic a long time ago. That is seriously fucking grating.

maybe you're aware, maybe some other people are aware, but as long as your actual name isnt attached, then theres absolutely no harm in ignoring the post altogether.

ill accept that apology. that was pretty unnerving, but it wasnt anything that i didnt get over within a few seconds.

Itīs nice to read sentences like this. We always looked up to Korb, they seemed to be one of the real big ones we canīt overcome. Still, our only win was in the early seasons back in AAA2 and we didnīt face them this season but itīs nice to get some recognition.
