yep against corners who are smaller than what a TE would come up against. Like I said just messing about with to see if strength can do anything on its own.

hopefully I'll get some suckers to sign this guy.
Isn't this a horrendous waste of level gains? I know WRs dont have great gains, but what is the incentive to get strength up so high so quick? Wouldn't it make more sense to at least softcap speed/agility/catching? Not knocking your build, I've just never made a strength receiver so I'm curious.
I'm retiring all but 2 of my senior players as my two main teams are going slow build. It'll be a long time before my slow build players become comepitive so for the meantime I'm building a bunch of (non-boosting) experiments (all the aliens) to fiddle about with in the meantime that I can retire with no cost. They have no serious future so not too bothered about maxxing natural gains. So far:
this guy
a FB with only speed/agility
a RB purely vision
a safety purely vision/jumping
pure strength punter
pure strength/block TE
Ok, that makes sense. How many seasons do you plan on playing with these guys?

Yh but strength can only help so much if the CB has a high tackling, and wrap-up tactic. so if ur going to have stre high also have better agility than speed.
Because so many Cbs have high tackle. If they did any speed WR would destroy them

carrying helps break tackles, right? wouldnt it make more sense to make a carrying WR, since WRs get natural carrying gains, to break tackles than a str WR? i mean, i would think that even with a carrying build, str would still be needed, maybe soft capped, but i think carrying would be a better choice... and it would help tuck the ball in/hold onto it when you get hit by a DB with say jackhammer.
