Okay I've missed out on this thread for a while so I figure I better clear the air on all the issues that have come up.
What you guys are so pissed off about (FOR THE 2ND TIME OF EXPLAINING NOW) simply isn't the case.
Even though I've already explained this, the real reason we sold our players off as rentals was because WE HAD TO! As you guys explained previously in this thread, our stadium is extremely small. Thus, being in "A" ball, we had NO cash to pay our team and the only recourse was to trade the players off to garner some cash just to keep the team in existence. Had I not done this, the team would have been gone, and after having literally paid hundreds of actual dollars on all my players' boosts, I was not about to let that happen. We were mere days away froom missing that second loan payment.
Now to answer the question about the size of our stadium: it's that small because I've doled out cash for player equipment upgrades since we were up in the A #4.
Now to answer (AGAIN) the question about why we were even in "A" ball in the first place: it's because, back on Season 5, the first season realignment took place (and the only season because of this very reason) we were swapped with a team called Dead Broke. This team was an absolute laughingstock in USA A#4 and wouldn't win a game the entire season. Their owner asked to be swapped, and I responded to him that I was interested, but not for sure. So he submits a swap request to Support, and even though Support was supposed to have my confirmation (or anyone from our team for that matter) we were swapped, even though no one from our team confirmed to Support that we actually wanted to be swapped. Thus, we weren't ready - and we had to sacrifice the stadium to pay for player equipment upgrades - just so that we could compete. That's why we're unstoppable now, because our builds are THAT good due to equipment upgrades, that probably no other team at this level has ever invested in - at any level.
What you guys basically fell victim to was Rikkhen of the San Antonio Heat (from up in A#4) coming down here to troll on this league's forum to state something that simply wasn't true. And you guys bit it hook, line and sinker.
Now I'll be honest...after all the losing from previous seasons, this is MUCH better than before and was an added incentive. But we're not doing things the "wrong way" and it wasn't the REAL reason we did this. WE HAD NO OTHER CHOICE, if we wanted to keep the team.
So there, it's been said and I really don't want to have to explain it three more times. I feel for you guys that have been here all along, but as A.J. said previously, we've been in the BBB leagues once before and were swapped AGAINST OUR OWN WILL, and have suffered for it ever since.
And to clarify a couple more issues in this long post: the reason we struggled in USA BBB#15 was because that league was the best BBB league pre-realignment. It was basically an A league. I took over the SkyForce on Week 2 of Season 3.
And A.J.'s being sold to come back to the team was a favor to me and because he's loyal to the team he's been with for so long. It was my decision, but only really to generate some much-needed cash.
