Tell everyone how you and your buddy compiled almost a 100 players by the end of last season and then moved them onto a new team so you could compete against lower leveled players. That's real Sporting. I'm sure some in this thread can relate, though.

Its also against the rules. when you go to make a trade it says specifically :

NOTE: Trades may be reviewed at any time. If you perform a series of trades with the express purpose of depleting one team to build up another, your team could receive a fine or be taken away.

I am sure Bort or DD would find the Dallas Orangebloods trading history an interesting perusal

That guy doesn't play for the Dallas Orangebloods you dipshit.

Furthermore, gag, it's not gutting a team if you trade off depth which is what it appears DeathKnight did in this case.

You guys need to get over yourselves. Its clear that you have the best 2 teams in the West. I doubt the game will be a blowout either way, and will probably be close. Not sure who will end up ahead when they face. One team seems to be filled by a bunch of attention whore douchebags though.

Speaking of attention whores, you seem to find your way into every one of our threads, and not one has concerned you. I'm sorry that your team is so insignificant that nobody will run smack against you. Would you like me to call you a name so that you feel like part of club?

Strange, I thought this was the BBB Forum, not Paul Kemp's forum. You are right, my team is not the best team, and I don't need to feel bad because someone might have questioned that.

I'll be the nice guy for once here. Remember how absurd it was when Reggie Bush beat Vince Young in a landslide for the Heisman because everyone was too busy making stupid Harry Potter references ("OOOOH! He jumps around the field like he's playing quiddige!") and distracted by USC bias to figure out who the REAL best player in the country was? And VY felt a little slighted by this and decided to take out his frustration by destroying USC on the field like a cyborg Hindu death god in cleats? It's kind of like that.

Like I said. May 23rd. We'll get our answer then.

Calm down, HN. I've sent a message to Bort requesting a forfeit and the transfer of all of our players to Savage's account. He can do with them what he wishes.

Furthermore, I figure if he is as great at real life as he is constructing an unbeatable GLB football team, then he should probably take over my life. I'm forwarding all assets, my girlfriend, and my soul to him as well. I advise you to do the same if you ever have any hopes of being an MVP in this world.

All hail Easy Company. Long live Savage Ops.

So let me get this strait... Youre sending Savage 2 buttons, a jolly rancher, your soul, and a 345lb woman?

Well Savage atleast we can use the woman as a backup center or somthing.

Good One Danny...Get Em!!

I love the fact in this thread all the Orangebloods claim that they never traded anyone from their other teams you guys own that they merely added 5 players from a disbanded team, and then Kemp comes in and says that they traded for depth. It might have gone unnoticed, but you happened to do that in a blatently obvious way the day right before you guys played SNK because your whole top threats list changed and about 9 starters. But whatever. We have bigger fish to fry in Ocean A, good luck to EZ and DO.

The whole "gutting" term is completely how one views it. I could care less about reporting it, but the fact remains you did trade from a bunch of your other teams and Bort addressed that in a stickied thread that he is against that. He also added a warning in the trades list that you cannot trade off players from higher league A to team in BBB to stack said team or you may be fined or lose your team. He also tried to combat the whole trading players to a weaker league by not allowing anyone to own more then one team after the first season ended. I really wish you guys stick around though, because everyone needs bad guys and you seem to be filling the bill.

I said the best players came from the disbanded team. Kruk, Beulah, Nick Barr, and me. Well, Val's only level 9, but I'm special in my own way! (Sidenote: Smiley means I'm kidding).

I tried to talk them into the black uniforms, but they're stuck on this 'Orange' theme. I guess I can deal with it since my favorite team's colors are orange and blue. And Texas does seem to love hiring coordinators from them.

Things are this crazy now, I wonder what they'll be like for the rematch in the playoffs.

Are you really that stupid? I was giving my opinion of how I felt about Darkknight's, WHO IS NOT ON OUR TEAM, situation.

This is an excellent example of hyerbole.

No, no we did not.

I don't see how you could possibly be so intellectually dishonest with a straight face. Take a look at the other team I GM, the Austin Orangebloods http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=925.

Does it really look like we're gutting that team for ringers? There are precisely three players currently playing for Dallas that are former Austin Orangebloods. They were buried on the depth chart and asked to be released prior to the beginning of the season. They had a relationship with Killer and me already and wanted to come play for our new team. They weren't released, they were traded under the game's trade rules.

Bort never said that he was against trading for players from higher leagues. When you're in BBB, ALL OF THE PLAYERS ARE IN HIGHER LEAGUES. In case you didn't notice, there was a player shortage at the beginning of the season. Free agents weren't exactly easy to come by. Instead of battling it out in the forums like everyone else, we used different methods to acquire players. They were all perfectly legal, but I'm not going to announce them publicly because I don't want you stealing our ideas. It took more research than just mass PMing people with a standard sales pitch or youtube video, but our hit rate was much higher.

That being said, the majority of our current roster is composed of players created at the beginning of season two.

That Darkknight dude is a totally seperate deal and if it sounded like I was lumping Dallas in the same category, it wasn't for the Team gutting. As far as I know, there's no rule against farm systems and inter-league alliances as long as there's no money laundering involved. I have no problem with the way Dallas has built their team. They're trying to be competitive within the confines of the rules. We have a few guys that played last season, but other than that we took a different route. If
people want to pile on me for having alot of players, that's fine, I also am doing what it takes to field a competitive team within the rules. So may the best team win.
