Just curious why head-to-head record (the one game) isn't the tie breaker when it comes down to two teams.

I'm all for cumulative point differential if it's a three-way tie, but not so much for a tie breaker between two squads.

When getting the tourney started, we just decided to use the one tiebreaker for all ties during group play.

The H2H tiebreaker would come into play in some seeding instances between the top two teams in a group, but it wouldn't come up when establishing the line between teams that advance from a group and teams that don't. It might have changed a few seeds this season, but likely won't matter in most of the groups. It is a good idea and one we recognize should probably have been included for this season, but we got things going with the points differential rule in place and didn't want to change the rules mid-stream.

It will probably change next season and the H2H will be included.

Congrats to Windsor for grasping the top spot in group 10...The game today for Manila @ Sooners could very well put them ahead of the Nites by virtue of the tie breaker. Manila needs to be clicking on all cylinders on both offense and defense. I like Manila's chances in this one.
