OK ladies, bring out your tissues, because David Amazing has some sad news for you all. This is going to be long, but no bullet points for you Nomad Hokie.
There have been several people asking about the status of David Amazing's contract and David Amazing's plans for Season 7 and beyond. Well, here they are.
You see, David Amazing has accomplished pretty much all there is to accomplish on GLB. David Amazing has reached the peak of his career. So because of that, David Amazing is announcing right now that after this season, David Amazing will be leaving the Tijuana Donkies and will enter a state of semi-retirement.
After Season 6, David Amazing will no longer be looking for full-time work. Season 7 will be a mercenary-type season for David Amazing for anybody looking to fill a roster spot or something. After that, when the level caps are lifted on David Amazing's team, the Antwerp Sylos, David Amazing will become a player-coach on that team until all of the flex points run out, at which point David Amazing will retire.
Does this mean that you'll never see David Amazing in South America again? That's not necessarily true. There's still that mercenary season. Also, the Sylos were bought because two of David Amazing's friends are still gung-ho about this game. But if they ever lose interest, and the Sylos go the way of the Montevideo Stores, the Donkies will be the first to be called.
But anyways, it's been fun, SA. Smell ya later. Smell ya later... forever.
