Bort made strength more important. Since you're only throwing 20-25 times, I'm assuming you're run heavy and your receivers have to block a lot more often. That takes energy. With the increased strength role, maybe they're getting pancaked more often, which consumes even more energy.
that's a pretty good theory and I appreciate the input. I'll invest a few points on my lower level WR and see how much difference it makes on energy. Whatever the cause there is certainly a noticeable drop off this season in completion % across the board. Vision and catching are already 60 capped and higher on all of our 40+ WRs so I don't think the decline is necessarily generated from the WR position, unless the extra energy consumption has something to do with. Even so, it's not a gradual decline over the course of the game like you would think in that case. It's from start to finish so I have my doubts.
QB vision is 70+, with over 115 in throwing so I know it's not an accuracy issue either. More than likely the difference is going to be in secondary improvements due to the new changes, and the only thing that can compensate is to continue to dump max points into vision and catching to hit the 68 caps......which is easier said than done at these levels because you have to pick one or the other since there are only going to be limited SP from level ups during the season.
edit: 20-25 times is our normal average but my US AAA team has had to pass more due to playing from behind so the stats have been skewed even more there. my Canadian team is still on the same pace at 20-25 passes per game and the completion % is only slightly higher. Both are down 10-15% so far
