I've said this in a few threads before and on one of my team forums... but GLB needs a practice sim for your player to gauge his skillsets. ex.: a RB running through a dummy gauntlet to test his carrying ability and his ability to hold on to the ball. This shouldn't be hard to program given the current game sims and code involved (not that i know what the code is or how it is computed) and you could make one for each position. This does two things: 1) It allows people who have invested points in their player to a skill that isn't as effective as they imagined it to curtail the suck before they bleed out and become a worthless build and 2) it gives people who don't own teams things to do besides wait 48 hours to see sim results. You could even add a point bonus if your player practices enough in the sim during a given period of time he qualifies for a point bonus (which is already in the game with nightly training into intense practices). This would eliminate the argument people have for mods having a build advantage and give people something more to do if they don't enjoy scouting/recruiting/owning a team/writing power rankings etc. etc.

I am certainly not accusing anyone of cheating, that goes beyond what is being discussed here.
I do not know the guys involved personally and do not have an axe to grind with them as such. But I like many many others have invested a lot into this game, and I am not talking about money but time. So yes may be I take the dots too seriously, but posts like this just reinforce the decision that it just is not worth it.
