he signed a contract

Well since when does a signed contract mean that owners can lie to someone? I was on this team last season and I know about the "drama" in question. I'm just saying that 12th should have lived up to his word.

the owner invested in him and just because he isn't happy with INDIVIDUAL stats, he's acting like a douche (open build, equipment off and threatening to give out gameplans and bitching the league forums)

The whole game plan thing is easy. Ban him from the team forum and sit his ass on the bench.

I dont get the logic in being shady and posting tactics and what not cause your mad at the owner, it doesnt solve much

Option 1: You continue to degrade him (which Im not saying he isn't screwing you) and you both go at it for an entire season as he will probably rot you. So in the end you don't really play

Option 2: You post the gameplans and no one wants you on there team cause you post game plans thus have no integrity. This one also leads to you not playing.

Option 3: Look for a semi decent trade partner and get the hell out of Dodge, which leaves the best option of playing in the end.

Fact is this, if you don't find a trade you will rot. Bort or no one else is going to get you out of a contract, suck up your pride and save face and find a trade partner (if he allows)

Goodluck 12th Knight.

The douche factor of this type of move is off the charts

So is lying to a guy that he's going to release him at the end of the season.

Not if the guy is as big a douchebag as this one seems to be. He's lucky 12th knight is even trading him. If one of my players stepped out like this I would take him off the depth chart completely and make him live out every day of his contract getting no game xp.

Popcorn anyone?

OP doesn't realize that being removed from the forums will take care of his ability to post gameplans.

There's a lot of the pot calling the kettle black here. He calls the owner immature and then threatens to post gameplans (and somehow stay inactive) in his little tirade.

::shrugs::

Top of the morning everyone. Going to reply to this once, quickly, and be done with this, because I'm no big fan of text walls and I've been through this stuff before with Bobby Winland (as you all may recall).

1) I signed his four players for two seasons because I dumped a lot of cash into their equipment. In fact, his players got first dibs on the money my team could ill afford.
2) When it became clear that we were still a rebuilding team, this guy pitched a bitch after every game on the forums and asked to be cut. Did I repeatedly promise to cut his players at the end of the season? I absolutely did, because I thought my team could afford the goodwill.
3) The crap being flung on the forums intensified to the point where I had to shut down his forum access completely. I removed most of his players from starring roles, but did not rot his players.
4) I had several guys approach me at the end of the season and either beg off the team, refuse to re-sign or ask to be cut, specifically citing the drama from the forums that this one person created.

Folks, that changes the game a bit. I might be able to take a loss of six or seven million dollars, and I might be able to take a loss of four players. That just means I have to recruit a little harder. But if you're directly or indirectly responsible for four or five more players leaving because of your deleterious actions (which are pretty much repeated in this thread), then the balance has to be readjusted. Given that situation I think it's EXTREMELY fair of me to at least recoup my losses in trades. It's not like I'm rotting anyone to punish them. I'm just saying, "Replace what you just took from my team."

It's pretty sad, since other than this guy, our team is as tight-knit as ever. My guys don't deserve this. And as unfortunate as my decision is (since I take my promises very seriously), I don't deserve this either.

I've been a part of 12ths team as an "advisor" for a while now and this is a good group of guys. 12th is a solid owner and a good guy. I witnessed the Drama he speaks of first hand and what he has every right to go back on what he said and make this agent honor his contract.

After reading both sides, while 12th made a promise, sorry man you dug your grave. Now accept getting traded or you can lay in it. He said he was going to release you so there is no reason you should throw bitchfits in the forums and screw the rest of the team over because you think you are out at the end of the season. This situation is your fault and 12th is in the right even if he is going back on his word.

Oh and I Do think I remember this guy being a mega douche when he was part of the Pewnts.

Wow. I'm on the Carolina Hammer and since we just were bumped up I come into the Pro forum and see this. After reading the situation and knowing neither of these guys, it's clear 12th Knight is the one acting in the most rational, reasonable manner. If players had not left the team because of the antics of the OP, I could see where he might have a case to call out 12K for not releasing the players. As is, the OP caused direct damage to the team through his actions and as such the response of 12K in trading to replace the players lost due to the acts of the OP.

The OP's actions in posting the PM were classless, childish and on the level of an butthair. (Using butt instead of another three letter descriptive just so when the OP reports it I don't get crap from the mods.) You know why it's a butthair instead of hole? You only have one hole and you need it to live & without it life gets really difficult. With a butthair like this guy, you can have them fall off and never miss it. It's obvious that 12K and his team won't miss this guy at all.
