I got a kick-ass mention from Clutch. I've changed stuff on my tactics and equipment etc, so less of these missed tackles, and building on my 3 INT's. Go Jerome Peterson!

And I'm the backup...I think the O-line for the Vikings deserves some pro-bowl pick loves.

Thats because you play on a crap defense where you basically just run around making the tackles for everyone.

If my LB played on your team he would have the same stats as yours.

regardless those are hella nice stats he's putting up there a LB leading the league in tackles and the guy is hammering who ever has the ball

I dont doubt he is a very good player, i am just pointing out that the stats are heavily bloated by the system he plays in.

Agreed to a certain extent, it's a lot like pointing out a ridiculous pancake number against teams like the Jayhawks or Saints, ect.

*edit - Pancakes are a worthless stat anyway.

you guys make a few good points. but i would argue, if you go game by game, and look at the amount of plays that he is in, and look at the production he puts out, it is impressive.

example
game 1 56 plays= 11 tkls, 1 tfl, 1 ffum
game 2 51 plays= 9 tkls, 1 tfl, 1 ffum
game 3 54 plays= 15 tlks, 1 tfl, 1 pd
game 4 55 plays= 13 tkls, 2 tfl, 1 ffum
game 5 25 plays= 7 tlks, 1 tfl
game 6 52 plays= 14 tkls, 2 tfl, 1 ffum
game 7 46 plays= 14 tkls, 1 tfl,
game 8 61 plays= 11 tkls, 1 tfl, 2 pd
game 9 50 plays= 13 tkls,
game 10 30 plays= 6 tkls, 2 tfl, 2 ffum

say what you want, but think that the stats speak louder then anything. thanks for the input.

The stats dont speak at all, since they are not really representative of ability.

Unless you feck up the attribute distribution, any level 16 LB is going to be pretty good, but you only get those stats because of the defense you play on.

Well, I'm going to say my guy, because it seems like the "cool" and "in" thing for all the kids to do nowdays.

You kids, with your Pac-Man video games and your Dan Fogelberg records. You don't know how easy you have it....

Where was I? Oh yeah, Me:

that argument doesn't work. all of the teams in GLB run a base 4-3 defense. so there isn't a difference between your team's defense and mines. and if you look at the game logs, out of the 3 starting LB's on my team, owens jr plays the least amount of plays. so his stats do speak about his ability's. if you want to know my ability's, just know that i followed the player build guides like everyone else.

*sigh*

Clearly you are failing to grasp what i am telling you.

I did not mean defense in terms of scheme, i meant in terms of the personnel that play on that defense.

You are the best player on that defense, so it makes sense that you run around making all the tackles, but any level 16 LB or above could do the same, so your guy is not really that spectacular.

I'd say that cover positions, like CB/FS/SS, would be the toughest to judge

the CB with the highest # of tackles is the one how allowed the most completions...

PD's are a good stat but how do you take into account someone who's coverage is so great that the QB never throws at them?
