OK, without reading further to get the reasoning Joe thought it might be hard to do, this made me LOL... I pictured Joe thinking Kentucky has no libraries. Hey, I figure West Virginia doesn't have them.

I used to drive through Kentucky all the time on my way to the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green. Saw every redneck stereotype imaginable, right down to the old man playing banjo on his front porch w/ an old dog laying next to him.

OK now I LOL'd that you actually went to Boring Green intentionally. What a horrible, horrible hole-in-the-wall place to choose to go.... Corvette Museum or not.

I used to drive through WV all the time on the Cleveland to Charlotte trip. As I recall, there is a nice Chinese Restaurant there.

Kentucky is down to 13 players. Hopefully both of these get taken care of by Bort, but unless they PMd support it is doubtful.

Won't matter, if all they have is 13 players, they will relegate naturally. Wolfpack joins the East.

Where did you hear this? Also wouldn't SF Fire relegate for the same reasons?

They got a nice drag strip, but that's about it. I've probably been there a half dozen times and never found anything entertaining. The drive sucks (4-lane road all the way there) and the strip clubs are terrible. lol

God, looking at the landscape that will be USA AAA#1 I wish one more team would go CPU so we could join the teams we've been playing.

Even Pittsburgh Steel appears to be going under.

They had all the levels, players, and builds, but no gameplan.

They were a dark-green 60 overall for God's sake, and they didn't even make the playoffs.

I thought many times last season about how I'd love to have the controls of that offense to see what I could do with it.

On another note, how many players do you need to keep a team? These guys look like they have their work cut out on recruiting. Maybe they've got it covered though.

I don't know what happened to the Vaqueros. They were pretty good back in their AAA2 days. I think they lost some CBs when they came up here, because that's been their weakness all season.

Yeah, 2 CBs and 2 LBs ain't gonna cut it in the pros. Especially with only 1 SS and 1 FS.

We have 7 LBs on roster and I'm worried that won't be enough if we make it to Pro and want to carry 7 CBs as well.

You need to have a certain average level to your roster to stay at your level, and that doesn't count CPU. So it's total levels / 40 (min. roster) and that's a drop probably down to A or lower.

Cool. I'll take it.

Seriously though it really is a shame the Fire had to end this way. I remember them from back in AA3 when I used to run the Las Vegas Aces with kr0n. They kicked our ass in the championship game!

Anyways, they were quality franchise and classy team.

There should be 10 open spots in USA Pro next season. All these teams should be dropping:

Anchorage Penguins
Kaneohe Daggers
Dallas Orangebloods
Oklahoma City Thunderstorm
San Francisco Fire
Doomsday Sin
Philadelphia Pushovers
Arizona Termites
Kentucky Madcats
Orlando Pirates

And maybe 11 if the Gridiron Rage don't do some big time recruiting.
