galk - what if the send down was done so that the top non-qualifiers went to the top rated pro league, etc.?

Take this however you want - you are out of your fucking mind.

I will gladly scrimmage you. I'm not saying we'll win, but even MEM didn't beat us by 50, and they are miles better than you.

So set up the scrimmage, and hope like hell you actually win by 50 so you don't look like a chump.

For the record, I wasn't really including BSB in that cupcake statement, and others, just conveying the point that saying the West is better than East is pretty ridiculous given that each has gutted/CPU teams and other teams that just can't compete at this level.

Top to bottom both conferences are fairly close, I would give an edge to the west, but there is not a huge gap between the two

I respect the hell out of every owner that makes it and stays in PRO. It would be flat out stupid to do otherwise.

You said "the bottom half of the West is cupcake city". The 10th place team is part of the bottom half, no?

Then I retract, because it wasn't what I meant...I just get tired of the "west is better shit" year after year.

Doesn't mean CTap doesn't have to back up his words though.

I think I posted this in the Rankings forum. 1-6 I think the West is better. 7-12 I think the East is better.

There's more disparity between the conferences this season than during any I've been in USAPro.

The top team in the East gutted and sent some of their players to the top team in the West. The #2 team lost important parts of their team. Put DDL and Boston back in the East, at the level they were at last season, and the Easts top 6 would match up.

You aren't going to lose your top team, have your #2 team decline, and stay at the same level.

Both conferences had top 4 teams join from AAA though, so it is good to get some fresh new blood that is very competitive.

Sledge sent a ton of guys to KY.

Tricon sent several to Green Bay and the Fire.

Between the two, they sent only two players to MEM - a blocking TE and a ridiculously talented RB.

Saris is really the guy that shifted. But adding Saris to MEM is like giving Pamela Anderson bigger tits. Doesn't really need it and is pretty hot without it, but having bigger tits is always nice.

(BTW - this is meant to say that both are great regardless of the other and is a compliment to both)

I guess I missed the part where calling 8 teams (which is what the bottom half would be) in the West "cupcake city" equated to respect.

As I said before, I think most of the teams in USA Pro are at least solid teams, with only a few exceptions. I certainly don't think the entire bottom half of either conference is "cupcake city" as you put it. There are some gutted teams, some under-leveled teams, some teams lacking depth, and I'm sure plenty of teams who just don't have the time nor inclination to put in the effort that the best do... but to claim that 8 from either conference are cupcakes is just utterly ridiculous.

And LOL at you backtracking all over the place but telling me to "hope like hell you actually win by 50 so you don't look like a chump." You've certainly looked like enough of a chump here for the both of us. So go back to fighting the good fight for USA Pro East... despite the fact that nobody has really slighted the East at all as far as I can tell.

Don't forget about Philly gutting and they were a good team.

Why am I not surprised you are all talk? Give me your address...I'll send you the quarter for the FP if you need it.

Just let me know when you are ready to "beat me by 50" or some similar bullshit.
