haha agreed, at least people are talking on the BBB boards, im used to having boards with nothing but smack talking between all of the teams. im glad people are talking more now that the season is getting on

couldnt tell you any specific individual I was referring to, was reading em all and a reoccurring theme was some listing how great such and such a player is then you see they have these silly stats and they are lvl 38 or something in a BBB league at that, thats the lowest level possible on a sliding scale, my thing is if you're full of 30's and 40's of course your gonna dominate in a begginners league... its like Ali in his prime bragging that he beat you up... wouldnt really be much of a match unless maybe you're Bruce Lee and I still wouldnt like your chances lol
anyway just dont see the point in chest thumping when you're a whole lot "older" as a player/team than those that you are just piling up stats on.... when you have good stats in a close to evenly matched contest then come brag a bit, youve earned it

ok and looking at your roster I see players even at 45 lvl, so truth is with a roster like that you should have been up and out of this lvl after 1 season.... obviously not a very old team cause your stadium isnt that far along... would hate to see your payroll with that roster lol anyway Im very surprised anyone 40 and over would want to be in this starter league.... with the new changes after this season Im guessing it wont happen any longer as lvl of competition affects veteran pts.... that will get em up and moving towards the upper level leagues....

Both those teams have a lot of 40's. You can say that we're too powerful for this league, but the truth is, the teams that are able to compete have to have level 40's.

I agree with you that those of us with higher lvl players in the league shouldn't be boasting about stats against lower level teams, but to address your other point you need to understand why we have higher lvl players. You haven't been here long enough to know the history of the league. Before all the gutted teams started dropping down here the league was much more competitive and there was no way to move up, which believe me that is something I think most of us want to do. The only way to move up is to get higher lvl players, otherwise you get to the next level and are immediately demoted.
The whole suggested level thing is a great idea, but it royally screws any team that has been building up so that they could advance to the next level. There needs to be some sort of reorganization, otherwise any team that has higher lvl guys and manages to keep them will be behind (no vet points) when they move up to the next league.
The history has been that this league has had high lvl teams, just in the last couple of seasons we have had a lot more gutted and slow build teams. You can't just change history overnight and if you try to, ie no vet points, fame, you will see a lot of problems.

think my point was folks shouldnt be thumping their chests over how amazing they are when anyone looking at the match up would go "DUH!" well of course you're gonna roll over em.... my point was brag when you do something against someone that "could have" stopped you but didnt... any game ending in 100 anything to zip wasnt really a contest....
