I pleased as punch with where we (McLuney) stand right now. Considering that I had to start this team from scratch last season in this competitive conference, I think we're in great shape. I envisioned next season when we really had a chance to make some noise.

Seriously though, Tulsa and Danbury are going to be huge games for us $$/seed wise, and I'm already looking forward to those games and what I'll do with the defense.

Underrated: Buncha Nobodies. Have you seen our average level compared to the rest of the teams in playoff contention?

We'll probably make the playoffs and lose in the first round this season (although I wouldn't want to play us because we can pull off up an upset every now and then, just ask McLuney), but I figure we'll be strong contenders for a top 3 spot next season.

Glad to see this forum picking up a bit though, I check it from time to time but am usually busy with my USA Pro team but I do keep a close eye on the Nobodies since I set the AI/depth chart for them and they have a number of players of mine.

Buncha is a good team, and with a few tinkers here and there can be pretty dominant. Continue doing what you are doing and good luck with both teams.

Trust me, I expect Buncha to finish somewhere around 3rd-5th. I think they are just as good or better than 1 or 2 of the 7-2 teams in the east.

I was never more pissed about a stupid GLB game as I was after I saw we lost to Buncha by 1.

No disrespect to you guys, you are a good team and had a great gameplan, I was pissed because we lost by 1 and my own kicker missed 3 FGs and 1 XP in a game that was lost by 1.

I was really surprised that Buncha lost to Trinsic, if not for that game they would be 7-2 as well and be right there in talks for a home playoff game.

Lets just say I hope we get a high enough seed to not see Buncha round 1, thats my goal.

I have a feeling we are going to suprise more than one of you before the season is up. Don't forget we are a slow build team, not just a few slow build players.

Oh I know, lets just say I'm glad we got you early in the season.

I really think you guys finish 10-5 and grab the 8th spot in the playoffs, just my opinion but I believe you'll end up passing up Cleveland for the last spot.

To do that you'll have to "upset" the Tigers and Cleveland while I'm picking you to lose to Tulsa to finish 10-5.

I think Buncha has a solid team right now, maybe a year away from being a top 4 threat but I am still not looking forward to that game. My team needs every win we can get at this point after losing a tough one to USA. Any of the 7-2 teams can beat each other here. The sim does some crazy things sometimes and we've seen it already this season. Right now I would like to see a 3 or 4 team tie at the end, it means the playoffs will be that much more exciting.

I for one would rather play the more evenly matched teams, win or lose they just make the game better. I know Danbury has a tough road to close the season with two 6-3 teams to play and 3 7-2 teams to play to close the season.

Trinsic will get a WHOLE lot stronger here in the next week or so specifically.

I'm not going to be so bold as to make some wild proclamation, save that we will get stronger here shortly.

That is good news, we already played you so anyone you beat is a help to us

Here's some bad news for those of you who might have to face us in the playoffs.

We haven't boosted yet with the exception of the few high level players we have. Like Trinsic, we've been a slow build team and our builds are just now starting to round out into shape.

Like I said, probably still a season away, but I know I wouldn't want to play us in the 1st round.

Was this before or after you guys loaded your roster with Cloudwalker's players from Venice?

There is no doubt that you guys have VASTLY improved with all those pick-ups. My only wonder is how well you will be able to perform in the Playoffs with the low Chemistry. Time will tell. Anyway, good luck.
