I've actually had more luck with my DE this season than I did in the last, and I've moved up a league and he's facing better OT's. All I'll say about the set up is that he's built without the "speed & agility push" that most were targeting, but is still very good in those respects. Played both sides of the line this season with the last two games on the right.
I'm not saying he's super dominant, but he's actually doing better now than he did last season with the "nerf"
i was hoping that you were right...(really was!) but then i looked into it.
With all due respect, your DE has 6 sacks and 5 of them were against teams that you blew away (gutted teams, or teams with no clue)...the other was against a lvl 34 RT who looked like he could lose to Jabba the Hutt in a foot race (ie, a guy who doesn't know how to build).
Not to mention that your league is still pretty low leveled and you might catch some agents who don't yet know that a tackle with 48 strength, 48 blocking, 48 agility and 48 speed can basically neutralize a DE up to 40th level this year (i see it hapen game in and game out)
My DE plays against tougher guys than yours and is lower leveled. He has 9 sacks and 7 were against gutted teams.
i still have yet to see eveidence of a DE who i going to get 25 sacks this season that came against comparable O-Linemen.
i'll wait and see if this gets re-re-re-balanced...because i suspect that GLB is on th verge of losing customers over this...
