Do you by chance have a suggestion to fix the problem or are you just whining?
only possible suggestion is to remove TE1/2 capability

Remove the TE1/TE2 capability, or let the defense change their tactics based on which TE is in the game (as they would in real life).

Yes

Not really. It's a microcosm of the entire problem re: the defense being unable to counter personnel changes (via specific inputs).

We will still use it to our advantage as OCs.

If you have a balanced TE, you need to be on a team with another one.

We use two balanced TE's, both can block and catch. One's built for speed, and the other to break tackles after the catch, and they still have almost as much strength and blocking as a lineman.

I'm all for a better depth chart for the defense, but who really thinks this will be a way to combat the RB1/2 TE1/2 slots?

It would come down to whoever makes the last second change to their depth chart, as it would be simple enough to switch the settings the night before and then swap the two TEs in their respective TE1/2 positions just before the game.

There is no reason. People will always find a reason to complain about anything that is so minuscule as this. Your patronizing use of words would probably work better on a teenager who can't type a sentence around here.

Besides, there is such an exploit DCs can use with their depth charts, it would most probably destroy most OCs O AIs.

Devil's in the details.

If you fail to comprehend how this is indicative of a larger issue, then I think I should be worried about you.

See my previous post. Things balance themselves out in ways that don't need nerfs/etc.

The offense should always have the final "switch". Its like being able to call an audible. In the real world if I bring in my catching TE and the defense brings in its dime package to offset this there's a good chance I'm going to call an audible.

Unless I need a lot of yards. Then I'm going to throw no matter what. But the defense is going to set on yardage to begin with.

I have a TE that gets as many pancakes as a OT and can catch. He's fast enough to handle high agi DEs and is fast enough sp to be a guaranteed 10yard truck.

Thats pretty fucking special right there.

How is this a nerf?

It'd be like adding a LOLB 1/LOLB 2 slot on the DC. An option for those who choose to use it, like the slots on offense are currently.

I think somebody should just admit and say they are pissed teams can run the wildcat because of the TE1/TE2 slots.
