Paris is staring 0-2 in the face as they roll into Rotterdam this week. Paris will need to find a way to score TDs rather than FGs on the improved Roughneck defense to have a shot – but I don’t see that happening this week.
Rotterdam wins 33-9.

Fightin’ Texas Aggies (1-0) at London Monarchs (1-0):
Offensive football fans will be in luck for this one as both the Aggies and Monarchs sport two of the top units in the Conference. And since neither team plays defense terribly well, the scoreboard operator should be plenty busy. This will be a big test for the Aggies who desperately want to knock off one of the big boys to show they are a serious threat. I look for this to be a good game, but in the end the Monarchs are just too good for the Aggies right now.
Monarchs win 44-39.

Not quite what we expected but the final score prediction was very close. Keep up the good work FDC.

Already said it in another thread but..... Good Game Monarchs. Chase and his offensive are looking very good this season. Our turn next time though, hopefully in the playoffs

Dude he's just a sportswriter...telling him to eat his words everytime he is wrong would probably make him want to stop doing these.

Seriously no one thought you guys would win...STFU

To steal a catch phrase, this is a match-up of diaper dandies as the Grizzlies and Dragons battle it out to see which rookie Alpha team is the king of the hill. I admit I don’t know enough about either team to make a good guess here. But I did like what I saw of Dresden’s D so that’s the horse I’m riding.
Dresden wins a brawl 19-17.

I really love to read your predictions and I´m happy to tell you that you were completely wrong.

I think Saihtam's post came out wrong - I'm sure he didn't mean it like that! If he's the reason FDC stops writing, then you got my promise I'll kick him off the team!

I guess we're all a bit shaken up after that win!

Sevilla Naranjas (0-1) at Lyon Dynasty (1-0):
Lyon has a great chance to get off to a 3-0 start with a soft schedule to open. However they can’t afford to overlook the Naranjas who, despite their Week 1 loss, are still a dangerous team. The Lyon defense will have to repeat their efforts of last week to have a chance – and I think they will.
Lyon wins 28-13.

GG Lyon. Just can't get a break right now.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to be offensive. I, as everyone else, love FDC's writeups. I'm just so surprised and happy that we beat the Roughnecks.

Yeah, we talk as much shit as any one, but there is no reason to bash the guy who goes to all the trouble to make a prediction thread. Especially when every person on this board would have picked that game the same way.

This is a must win game for the Longnecks as the start of their schedule is much softer than their finish. Starting the year 0-2 could de-rail their plans for a top 4 seed. That’s bad news for the struggling to adjust Divots.
Longnecks win 33-20.

Boo-ya. We're running at about 60% efficiency on defence, and our offence is still a shambles this season so we'll take any early seasons wins we can get.

Giving up a safety was not in the playbook

Aberdeen Wrecking Crew (0-1) at Berlin Blitzkrieg (1-0):
This is a big game for AWC who can ill afford another slow start to the season. The Blitz will be looking for a more consistent game after their narrow escape last week. If Berlin can find a way to pressure Rocketarm, AWC could be in for a long day.
Berlin wins another tight one, 28-24.

Berlin is running on about 40% offence, with defence back up to about 70%. Need to iron a lot out - but that was a better display even if we did throw away a lot of points with a fumble. Fortunately our defence stepped up and saved us by forcing their own fumble just as they got into FG range with 2 minutes left.

Winning ugly > starting 0-4.

GG Tiffany. You guys played us real tough. Your D was real good today, we couldn't get much going.

Looks like we may be seeing a lot of 'nothin but pass' offenses against us all year

Yeah, coz that works against you?

GG, happier coming out of that than any of our previous shambles. We would have only lost by 15 had we not given up the two Def TDs. That's good, right?

That's par for the course for PPP against anyone, apparently.
