In the 4 games that I've used it that have been competitive, and one blowout loss, I've had a total of 22 catches for 499 yards and 4 TDs. Not too bad....

Maybe its not JUST agility based, maybe its a ratio based, if you keep a 1:1 agility/speed ratio or better in favor of agility it works great.

You don't need to have agility higher than speed for it to work well. I have pretty high agility, but my speed is still higher.

Also, my agility to speed ratio is about 1.15:1.00, and I haven't seen inordinately positive results, so I'd discount that theory a bit personally.

I think is good for the right player. I have a WR with 13 in head fake and great agility. He usually doesn't do much because he can't get enough seperation to give him a chance to work his mad skills. But since I put him on creative route running, he is doing great. He busted a 70 yard fly route last game. He is not fast compare to most CBs, but he put 10 yards on the guy before he could get turned around and that was all he needed to break the long play.

The CB and WR look to be the same speed there. Plus I don't see the jittering of a creative route running. He just ran straight.

If the fake works, why would he keep jittering. This guy bit on a head fake, got frozen in his tracks and burnt deep.

Just like someone else stated, I used Creative running for one game and did not do shit.. then I switched over to exact route running and my stats have been off the charts.. so I'm going to stick with what's working for me.

My WR has 68 speed 50 agility and 51 vision 48 confidence.... Do you think it would work for him? He's a possession receiver

Nope. I think the debate for what is high agility starts at 60 agility and you aren't there.

Hmm, how built up are your SA's? Like Quick Cut?

QC is at 8, which I'm sure is a large part of my success with it. I also have pretty high agility for a WR, it's just not my highest attribute. Should really be interesting when I can finally start using my piece of AE with Juke on it, 6 more bonus tokens!

I believe Quick Cut can make up for high agility. Check out my WR Walter Dix he has 11 Quick Cut but only 52 agility:

He momentarily freezes the CB then gets serious separation:

But he also stutters sometimes when trying to fake out the CB:

If I 2nd capped agility my WR could probably be deadly on creative, but unfortunately I doubt I will be 2nd capping it.

So if he'd be deadly, why wouldn't you 2nd cap it? Just curious. Unless he's got a massive case of the dropsies, or he's got the stamina and confidence of a 300 pound ashmatic 8 year old, I'm not sure why you wouldn't.

I already have a specific build plan for him that won't be complete until level 35 so I won't be able to spare the 3 levels worth of SP it would take to 2nd cap agility until then.

Anyway, by that time my WR should have 14 Quick Cut.

I think the creative route running is a very exiting development. I have noticed that very few DB's med cap agility before maybe the mid thirties. So a WR with Agility and vision as main attributes spiced up with head fake, juke and quick cut (he would of course also have to have semihigh speed and catching to be effective) could possibly dominate against most DB's.

Does anyone have a welker-type WR to try this with? i would really like to see the results!
