Your analogy almost works except for the fact that to make it work, the neighbors mentioned it at 3AM when you were sleeping so you couldnt hear it and didnt have a chance to call the cops.

Yes he talked about it, during the offseason where there is always a lot less activity.
Second of all it was during the offseason with probably the least activity so far (holidays)
Thirdly he didnt gave anybody a choice AND talked about it when support/bort had already been contacted so the harm was already done. Im not saying it was the worst idea ever, im saying that i despise the way he executed his "masterplan" to save ee pro.

I agree with this post probably more than your others, that it was probably a bad time to bring it up because of the holidays and all. But the offseason was really the only time to talk about it, as thats when all the relegation/demotion takes place. And I doubt Randy planned to do it in some sneaky conniving way. He was just doing what he thought was best for the league

Again, you can't hold Randy accountable for thegenerels/kenyons actions (not so much kenyon lately).

He should have made a thread about it midseason and asked a mod to sticky it. Plain and simple.

His lack of insight doesnt make his actions right. Premeditated sneakyness or not, he was still wrong doing it behind the others owners backs. Especially when those owners payed the same amount of money for their team he does and won their way into the pros. The sim decides who has to leave, not a random teamowner.

Some of those teams could have bounced back to be at least semi competitive in a matter of half a season. Randy compromised their chances of doing so when they fought damn hard to get into the pros in the first place.

Well, its not like you have to do a preemptive message to Bort. Randy has - to my knowledge - always been fairly open about what he wants done.

And a league cannot consist of only competetitive teams, it is not possible in this game, and it is not possible in real life. I am way too tired to write a longer more constructive post lol.
