It is sad that football is coming to an end, but does anyone else agree that the quality of football this season stunk? Couple of things to note:

1. Two of the favorites this year (Colts/Steelers) have deteriorated from last season but have better odds to win it all this season.
2. The TD leader this season (Rivers) has 32 TDs, last season Brady had 50 TDs.
3. The top defenses (Pittsburgh, Tennessee, Baltimore) are also not playing lights out. Baltimore's D isn't as dominant as it was when they were the #2 seed a couple of seasons back or during their SB run, Pittsburgh's D is pretty much the same, and Tennessee's D is about the same as during the Mac-9 and Eddie George days.
4. The MVP favorite is Peyton Manning.... And this is one of the worst seasons of his career.
5. No rushing attack comparable to the Priest Holmes era Chiefs or the old San Diego Chargers.
6. The #1 AFC favorite is lead by a Quarterback who retired two seasons ago.
7. One of the best offensive player from last season (Tom Brady) and one of the best defensive player (Osi Umenyiora) were knocked out early.

I can go on and on... I hope next season picks up.
