While we in Seattle are disappointed by the loss, we're not going to run around blaming only the sim. Good builds and good tactics will overcome sim vagaries most of the time. We were missing something, either in tactics or builds. We knew it would be a totally different game from the regular season when we saw Minnie boost. They have done a hell of a job building their team. As much as people have poo-poo'ed scouting bars since the inception of GLB, I think they do need to be taken more seriously now. Most teams know how to build players now, and the scouting bars are becoming a better indicator of the ability of a team. Especially when that team consists of well prepped slow-build players like Minnie.

For our part, we're very pleased with our season. It was only a few seasons ago that we were a gutted team with few prospects for success, in the hands of a new owner, and looking at a long road of losing seasons before even thinking about the playoffs. I think a 16-0 record during the regular season from a team that was gutted - just what, three seasons ago? - is respectable. Hats off to the Masterminds for doing a fantastic job. And if they win the championship, that may assuage our pain a bit - knowing that at least we lost to the best team in the playoffs. Now we take the lessons learned this season and apply them to next.

Excellent post bighop. Seattle is a great team, and you all should be proud and happy for the turn around you have made with it. Keep the team together and I'm sure you will see plenty more successful seasons.

I can agree with the morale statement however I really don't understand if you are trying to look cool by calling me a "whiny bitch" or if you are serious.

If your serious, reread my first two posts, I repeatedly mentioned that I was NOT calling foul play or anything however concerned and confused about the point differentials in ALL 3 GAMES. It was never my intention nor should it have been perceived that I was trying to trash the Devils, Rutgers or Masterminds. In hindsight it was pointless for me to start the thread but I was interested in opinions about why the games were SO lopsided, MHKL made a good point for our game, we had very costly turnovers that and your point was very valid about Morale, those were the kind of response I expected to get from people in this thread.

I'm not trying to "look cool" with my statement, I'm an asshole and I was expressing my opinion that you were just whining and not looking for a actual discussion. If you were looking for some type of discussion I do not believe you should have started the thread with the title that you did.

You are right, it was pointless for you to start the thread the way you did...the title and most of your statements set the wrong tone from the get go.

Also, congrats to LaCrosse, Rutgers, Devils, and Minneapolis. There are a few teams in A #2 folding. Along with promotions, all of you should make it up (and possibly some teams that exited in the second round). It will be nice to see/play you all again.

Haha I don't know about that. We might be losing a couple pieces, including a coordinator. And with all the teams folding, we could possibly even get promoted.

Dam I hope not I was looking forward to your all pro video again like last season.

I still wouldn't put much stock in scouting bars. Minneapolis has higher bars, because we don't have much stamina or very many points in SAs, neither of which affect the bars.
