Add the 4 teams that move down that are human.

O and Macua has agreed to switch down to AAA as they feel it is best to get their squad competitive so there are going to be around 12 news teams to this league next season. That is a lot.

I am not understanding why people want to move down leagues? It makes no sense...do they understand how hard it is to move up? I mean its not every year 10+ teams fold..getting through the woodwork sucks balls guys...

Yea but it is also no fun being in the top league and being the whipping boy either. If you move down you have a better chance to be competitive and enjoy the game

Well I also don't see why people would want to move up without actually earning the spot. Would take the fun out of things for me personally.

Is that directed towards Pa Dong? I don't think you realize it isn't even about moving up for us, it is more about moving out of our current league. We were thinking about 5-6 leagues. 4 Pro, USA AAA, and USA AA, so we were willing to move down as well. All the other AAA leagues though are really uncompetitive besides USA AAA. I don't know why you would care whether a team wants to move up or not

Imagine being a team like Macau. Season 1 Pro Team, with solid levels that was competitive, and each season as more "elite" teams finally get to where they belong have become less and less competitive without one change to there roster. As an owner of that team, do you recruit and alienate those who have stuck by you? Or drop down where you are a possible playoff team and keep the players who have been with you since day 1 happy? Personally, i'd choose the latter.

The best teams don't always make it out of the playoffs to get moved up. And if the current league isn't very competitive, then it's not very fun. Watching your dots run roughshod over the league during the regular season only to get bounced in the playoffs can get frustrating. At least if the whole league is competitive and you have to fight for that playoff spot, you'll have some fun regardless of how the playoffs work out.

The point is to get to the top right? May as well go play with the little boys in BBB and below if you just want to be good. I hate it when I see someone move down on purpose...its so cowardly.

I don't think it is that. It is just you want the feel to be competitive again and have the fire. That is what Macau has been looking for and it is not like they want to blow out any league, just to compete and maybe make the playoffs which they will have a chance to do in SEA AAA

So does that mean they drop down to AAA, get on the verge of winning that and purposely throw the CCG in order to stay away from Pro competition again? It just doesnt make sense one bit...

This is right on the money. The league is great actually and I love the teams, but the fact that we have been stuck in neutral for 6 seasons while watching teams that we feel we are as good as at the least gets on your nerves and eventually you just have to leave the league and look for something better which is the case of what my team is doing right now.
