It's tough to look at statistics and logic when you're not out of middle school yet. Perhaps we can level the playing field by writing phonetically as well as color illustrations?

alright, so back to actual MVP vote:

Offense:
1 - Jason Hoppe (HB)
1 - Max Mangweiski (LG)
1 - Mark Hannon (HB)
3 - Rich Wu (QB)
1 - BoBo "Bus" Young (HB)

Defense:
1 - Mr. Enzo (CB)
3 - Simon Fletcher (DE)
1 - Wam Bam Thank you Mam (DE)
1 - Chris Boynkins (DE)
1 - QueB Smasher (DE)

Best Name:
Spliph Smoker (OLB) - Holly Tornadoes
He also claims to have the best "legs" in the league but that is a whole other story.

Yes, people who use numbers to level the playing field are retards...

Ill use last year in the NFL as an example... The numbers are going to be a little off because nobody had 545 carries...

2007:
Clinton Portis led the league with 325 carries for 1262 yards, avg of 3.9 yards.(Betts backed him up but not often)

Adrian Peterson had 238 carries for 1341 yards, avg of 5.6 yards. (Taylor backed him up)

2006:
Larry Johnson led the league with 416 carries for 1789, avg of 4.3 yards.("nobody" backing him up)

LaDainian Tomlinson had 348 carries for 1815 yards, avg of 5.2.(Turner backed him up)

Now these numbers are a little off from our current situation because Portis didnt have as many yards as Peterson, but considering you had over 100 more carries than ANYONE else in the league its not too far off. Added 2006 because it was the same type of deal. Just because your player is leader in a category doesnt mean hes the MVP.

Brian Westbrook can be subbed in for either of the "second" players and the results are the same so its not just LT and Peterson.

And not once did I say your OLine was bad.

I don't agree with the averages scheme you guys are putting out there for 2 reasons. The more carries a player has, the more valued that player is and also the more endurance he has in order to be in the game so much (not one of these guys who puts 20 into stamina and 80 into speed). You also have to take into account that our team scored a ridiculous amount of punt and kick return tds on the bad teams in the league. This takes away from the stat padding that most teams enjoyed on offense for averages and even touchdowns (probably cost Jayhop the TD lead). I can't take anything away from the other players, but you have to balance out the circumstances. I also like R. Wu at the QB position.
On the defensive end of the field, QueB Smasher had no equal. He destroyed teams on his own in a few games. Many of his sacks were against bad teams and some were against good teams, but one thing you guys have to consider is that he is 4th in tackles for a d-line player-----that's flat out ridiculous. He affected to many games to not be considered the favorite. Congrats also to S. Fletcher for an outstanding season. Mr Enzo was also great with 18 picks----nice!

I tastefully disagree, I think this game is about meeting new people and building a team where everyone does their part to win championships.

im talking about your player wow. Someone said that it doesnt matter about the stats your guy has when we are voting which i disagree with because you cant just say someone is better than the other espeacially(Sp dont feel like thinking) if they have better stats then them!

Are you talking about attributes(strength/speed/agility) or actual statistics(TDs/Sacks/Ints)? It sounds like apples and apples which might be where many are confused.

Its stats and circumstances that make players MVP candidates. Attributes mean nothing (although a level 30 D-end dominating in sacks where most players are in the mid to high 30's level wise might take some consideration)

game stats, We are to vote on who you think should win which i chose Rich Wu because stats wise he is the best for the season, Yes, i know he had more throws and what not but its not his fault. But one guy decided to vote for BUS the HB that has like no stats at all saying that he did the best this season which i dont get one bit even if i was drunk! Can you please tell me why he would deserve it over Rich Wu and the other Quaterbacks or My guy, Mark Hannon, and the Other HB's that had way better stats than the BUS. Do get me now?
