Hey, whose got the top prospect from 2008 and the current numero uno recruiting class of 2009 (Scouts, Inc.)? That's right. My boy Terrelle and the young 'uns of OSU will be something to FEAR in the future. Mark my words.

The only thing they make me fear is the fear that they will make in to the national championship game. In which we could all be bored to death as they are demolished by an SEC team.

Past is the past, bro! I'm talking about the future! Just look at these past two classes (including 2009)! Whoooooo! Sorry, but OSU is here to stay. GL to the country when Pryor is a JR and/if when he's a SR! It'll be utter domination. Enjoy your reign SEC, the clock is ticking...

actually SEC isnt' the dominant division this year... that reign is already coming to an end... they are/were tough as hell and OSU had no buisness playing in the National Championship last year.... I'll be the first to admit that.. But Im not gonna sit here and think that we are gonna come in and dominate...
But what goes around comes around...
But what goes around comes around...

Who is dominant then? Big 12? I won't argue with that. I have always said it's the SEC or the Big 12 every year.

yeah this year the Big 12 has had it almost all year.. and they are holding 3 of the top 10 spots.. thats just my opinion.
I am a OSU fan, nothing will change that. Right now SEC has been dominating us in the championships but it happens to every team at some point. Big 10 doesn't have the money that SEC schools have, and recuriting is harder. But like I said up there

You mean the Big 12 SOUTH. The Big 12 North is a complete joke. True, the top end of the south is the TOUGHEST DIVISION IN COlLEGE FOOTBALL, but the SEC is the TOUGHEST CONFERENCE IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL from top to bottom. So true, the ceiling of the Big 12 is a LITTLE bit higher, but the depth of the SEC is still way above that of the Big 12. I mean, perenial bottom feeders Miss State, Miss, and Vandy have been making some noise, and they'd easily dismantle ANY team in the North (except maybe Missouri) and the bottom half of the South. The Big 12 South has the 4 MONSTERS in the South (Okie, Tech, UT, and O-State), but again, no depth behind them.
But, my case still remains the future of ONE team. Ohio State will return to Nat'l Dominance in 2 years, I promise. You can quote me on it

UT, TTech, Oklahoma, and OK State would all beat alabama (or florida). Fact. The south alone carries it over the SEC.

Are you sure? Are you REALLY that certain? I think you GRAVELY underestimate Bama and Florida, not to mention Georgia (when they're not choking). And of course, you can't expect Auburn and LSU to be down forever. I think you are putting too much into those four teams. To say a mere four teams makes a conference seems silly to me. Well, I suppose you'll see when the SEC wins the BCS (AGAIN!). But, I'll say again: Gigs up in 2 years when OSU comes stormin' back!
P.S. Future Sleeper: Boston College. Two outstanding True Frosh RB's and a RS FR QB (Domanique Davis) that's doing VERY well. Also, an excellent young OL in Chestnut Hill which includes a kid who went to my HS (RT Richy Lapham). This is another team that could make a BIG splash in the upcoming years if they can replace their losses on defense (arguably the best front 7 in college football right now).
Yeah... I love arguing over football, and especially college ball

I will not argue with a "FACT". That kind of certainty makes all my points seem invalid (sarcasm).

Not that I mind the discussion (it's nice to see someone posting) but maybe this should be in a thread about college football?
....and no, I wasn't a hall monitor in school.
