Warrior General Games

Never played for Brady's team, but I have had 2 encounters with him. First he was a "GM" (and I use the term loosely) for a Team I was on. He ran a 50/50 Basic Offense and took credit for the few wins we had "under him as OC" in our Team and League Forums and was fired ASAP. The second and probably more telling instance: He was having yet another "Fire Sale" from his team. I bought a FS for Max Cash. The Player I bought is still on my team and thanks me to this day for rescuing him off of the team because of (Quite literally) all of the reasons mentioned above.... As a Person it would be unfair to say that he was less than an ok guy, But....100% for sure, as a GM/OC/ Team owner he is a total Douche. Avoid Playing for him or hiring him as a GM at all costs...

"This is BULLSHIT, I need my equipment, if you can't give me my equipment I will demand to be traded!"

I had to stroke ur damn ego and tell how wonderful your fucking shit players were to shut ur piehole.

If someone offered to fund my flex to boost all my players for one season, Id say hell no.

Is it a wonder he doesnt last anywhere he goes. I traded his ass, and not a week later his new team was trading him. His players dont like him.

Quite possibly the very worst agent in all of GLB.

But he's not doing whatever it takes to win. He talks the talk, but he can't walk the walk.

There is a laundry list of problems that he can't get a handle on. And when his GMs try and deal with those problems, he fires them. I finally got disgusted with him, and flat out told him that I was through even trying - I stripped my DT of his equipment, put him on relaxed playing and set him to whatever random tactics I wanted to. AND I told brady all this - publicly, on his team forum - that he could bench me for all I cared - my DT was still the starting NT for 3 games, despite having an equal level DT around.

How is that a guy playing only to win? When, despite being told, he doesn't even change the depth chart to compensate for a known weakness? The only thing worse I could have done was start telling our opponents our tactics - which not only would I not do, but there were hardly ever any tactics posted to tell any one!

Yeah, sounds to me like a guy playing to win.

Actually, I'm posting to warn off people who are thinking about signing with him. Frankly, being on his team will manage to kill the enjoyment of GLB for a lot of players, particularly if they only have one player. If I hadn't been playing for good owners for 4.5 seasons already when I got traded to him and had players on other teams, I would have quit GLB altogether because of him. So newsflash for you - if GLB wants to retain it's customers, piss-poor owners like him need to be called out.

This is nothing about hating on the cool kid. This is warning others about incompetance. As a person, brady may be the coolest kid in his school and socially, I might even be able to like him and want to hang out with him. But he doesn't have what it takes to be a good team owner.

For the record, here's how brady pissed me off - I spent the first half of the season trying to play the voice of reason on his team forums - trying to get the truly upset players to calm down, and trying to get brady to make reasonable compromises, giving constructive criticism without resorting to name calling, etc. The final straw for me was when not only did brady completely ignore everything, but continued to delete threads where he would have to ackowledge anything.

And dont friggin say you'd give him a respectful trade. Personally i'd let im rot off the Depth chart for the rest of the season.

In ANYTHING, if you work for a guy, you don't take his business hostage by hurting them, Is that the way you get what you want in life. These are real people, you dont get through by acting like a friggin bigshot and start saying "if i dont get what i want ill ruin you". I admit Brady has done a couple of things badly, but has ANY OWNER made a thread saying Don't sign (insert player name here). Owners are not why GLB might fail, piece of crap players are.

My new motto: your getting enough playing time arent ya? So shut the hell up.

And I told Brady and you that I didn't care if I rotted. Doing what I did was the only power I had - either that, or sit in the team forums and demand you release me, like so many others are doing - which was fricking pointless, not to mention I had a contract. I didn't do it behind anyone's backs, either - I was upfront and honest about it. I merely mentioned it here because tshizzle seemed to think that the Wolves would "do anything to win." I think I pretty much disproved that, eh?

For those of you who are coming in, and think I'm being a shithead, go ahead and PM the other two owners I with whom I have players, and ask them about me. Ask any of my teammates on those two teams. I think you'll find that something drove me to do what I did.

Actually, if I work for a guy who's incompetant at running his business and making my life there miserable, I quit. If I have a contract, I either deal with it by fulfilling my side of the contract to the bare minimum like he's doing, or I use his breach of contract to nullify it.

In GLB, a player can't quit. But the contracts only have one stipulation for players - that's how long they are on a team. As of tomorrow, I fulfilled my obligation under that contract. And I fulfilled it with the same level of commitment under the contract, that the wolves showed towards me and other players.

That's exactly my problem with the wolves. It isn't about playing time - it's about all the other qualities that make up a team. Sure, I got enough play time - I've never once bitched about that, whether I was starter or backup. It's about PMs not being answered, people being banned from the team forum without warning and for arbitrary reasons, and entire threads with respectful, constructive advice for turning things around are deleted, rather than responded to.

I'd tell you to go back and read the threads in question, but hey, guess what, you can't, because they all got deleted!
