Week 6 Pre Hype
Week 4 had a lot of upsets and a lot of strange things happening. Coaches were playing their back ups over their starters is was a freak show in the league. But I think this week things have calmed down a lot and teams are now more then ever getting back to focus.
At least on thing has not changed amist of all the chaos. That would be the top three teams in EE Pro League.
Alpha Conference:
Washington Chairmen 5-0
Sheboygan Chaos Theory 5-0
Zeta Conference:
Prague Punishers 5-0
These three undefeated teams have the rest of the league chasing them down. They are holding all the cards and they do not look to be slowing down for anyone. There are a few teams out there that look to spoil what they have going on.
Washington has made a believer out of me. At first I did not know if they deserved the much coveted title #1 team in the Alpha Conference. But they do not just win, they win with style. Their closest game was by 21 points. And that was the week that back ups played as starters for most teams. So they are truly the #1 Seed in the Alpha conference.
Sheboygan has played some hard teams and still managed victories in all of their games. But I have to say that they do not have the style that Washington has. With no big name talent they win and win and win, they almost seem to fly under the radar. But still with a 5-0 record nobody can argue they are one of the premier teams in this league.
Prague what can we say, they started winning last year and are still winning. Putting teams to waste each and every week, dominating both sides of the ball and putting up more points, then I think any team in the league so far? They are trying to go for the perfect season. But make no mistake there are several teams that think they can slow down Prague and give them the bitter taste of defeat!
Games to watch for these three teams.
Washington:
Week 7 Team Phoenix- These two teams will clash in a fight that will not be high scoring and will be ground out on the ground. If Team wants to win this game they need to put the b all in the hands of HB Bjorn Akiboh often so that it takes pressure off of the passing game. This does not mean that Washington is going to let him run all over them either, Look at this to be a close game.
Week 10 American Invaders- This teams record does not do this team justice. They are better then their record looks. It has been rumored by many that they are losing games on purpose because they like to be the under dog team. But make no mistake they are a tough tough team to beat. Look at this game for Washington to be surprised and see if they can match wits with the American coach to beat them. I look at this game to probably go into over time. Washington has not been there before, so can there stamina hold out for a victory?
Week 14 Sheboygan Chaos theory- I think there is not a lot I can say but WOW. If both teams make it this far with out being beat, then it would be the game of the season (Besides the rematch in the playoffs). Good luck to both of them to remain unbeaten until this day!
Sheboygan-
Week 9 Sarajevo Reapers- Well this game could be a close one, but they already lost to Washington but don’t think that will keep them from trying to end Sheboygan’s winning streak!
Week 13 Team Phoenix- Do I need to go into more detail about his one. Same thing as above. These two teams will fight a long hard game. And it will come down to which Team’s rushing attack produces the most yards!
Week 14 Washington Chairmen- This would be epic for to undefeated team to go at it before the playoffs. Will it happen?
Prague-
Week 6 Chernobyl Mutants- This game is going to be every bit intense as a playoff game. Not only did Chernobyl get upset two games ago, they want to lay waste to Prague to show everyone in the league they are not going to be a push over. Prague will stop at nothing to win this game. We will see another fight for the undefeated season.
Week 11 Silesia Miners- Surprised to see them here as a team that will beat Prague, well they are a proven team that has laid waste to many good teams this season. They have a very well balanced offense and defense. They can get beat in the passing game and little Debbie has bee very hot the past couple of games.
Week 13 Moscow’s Monsters- I know what everyone is thinking, these losing bums beating the Prague team. Well there is history between these two teams. And when you look at the stats, this team in probably the only team is a secondary that can shut down Little Debbie. Can their offense score points would be the question on many peoples minds. Last year they had a hot offense. This year moving the ball well, but struggling to score points. They have 8 games to figure it out if they plan on beating Prague or even making it a close game!

Zeta Conference
Prague Punishers VS Chernobyl Mutants.
This game has playoff rematch written all over it. After Chernobyl being upset two games ago, they rebounded back with a thrashing of Orleans Aftershocks. But then again who does not thrash that team. But it might have been what the team needed to bounce back and give Prague a run for their money. But I think home field advantage will play a huge part in this game. Prague +4
Rome Gladiators VS Moscow’s Monsters
Well this game is one that many may be scratching their heads trying to figure out why it is on here. Well lets look at both teams. Monsters are on theirs heels from a loss to Silesia Miners and Rome lost to the same team two games ago. Both teams are pretty evenly matched. And there is a whole season riding on this game for both teams. One Rome must win to stay on the top half of the Zeta Conference and Monsters need a win if they hope to make a late season run for the playoffs! Rome has a very balanced attack that is 1/3 passing. Monsters can shut down a passing game very well. Monsters have not found an offense stride yet. Can they do it against Rome?
Rome is my favorite in this match, they have a better balance attack and the Monsters have yet to find what works for them on offense. Rome +2 ½

Georgia Tech-9s VS American Invaders
Both teams desperately need a win if they want to stay in the hunt for one of the top seeds in the Alpha Conference. American has lost two games this season and they both were nail biters. Georgia has lost two games two, one of them being a one point loss. These two teams are very evenly matched and it will take the coaches looking into their game plans to figure out what needs to be done in order for them to win. With this game being so close I think it will be won or lost in the trenches of the running game. Who can rush for two yards to get that much needed first down to keep a drive alive. I like that match ups that American have over Georgia on the defensive side of the ball.

Team Phoenix VS Kazan Golden Horde
This is game that needs no introduction. These two teams have met a few times before and once were both reign supreme in the alpha conference. But now they are both falling to middle of the pack. And one team wants to pull out and say, “Hey we are still a power house team in this league!” With that being said one loss for either team could send them into a spiral that may cause them to miss the playoffs. Team Phoenix is a very strong team and has a lot of weapon it can use to score points, Kazan has a lot of weapons on defense and has had a stroke of bad luck when it comes to scoring points against a winning team. I see this game being won, by the team controls the fourth quarter. It will be a game of clock control. Team +4

When will the losing streak end for one of the 0-5 teams. Here is a short list of when to watch the games. Because these games could decide on who goes to the AAA and who stays in the PRO. Now another team could spiral down and replace them because there are seven 1-4 teams. But right now let’s look at our teams with the longest losing streaks this season.

New Jersey Devils VS Orleans Aftershocks
This will end one losing streak but add to the other losing streak. This one is to soon to say whether it will have an impact on who goes and who stays. But it will be one to watch to see what teams finally moves itself out of the cellar and start a Win streak! One game at a time would be my advice to those two teams!
Week 14
Warsaw Legioniers VS Grodno Pirates
This game could have history written on it. If both teams arrive to this game and still have not won a game this may very well be the game that decides who stay and who goes to the AAA League. Both teams are rebuilding I think one team has a step above the other in that department. But lets look at who they play after this game.
Warsaw plays the Sarajevo Reapers then Silesia Miners. This game could very well be the last game they have a chance to win.
Grodno plays the Gliwice Lions and Prague Punishers so they might be able to pull off a win against Gliwice. I hope the team improve before then, but this game has the thought of being the game that decides who goes form the PRO league in the ALPHA conference.

Devils have a pretty good shot at beating their oppts this week. our offense is better than theirs overall wise. i still dont think we will win. but us an Orleans will be close
