Being that Philadelphia is always in the playoff hunt (sorta) and are 3-1 this season, they're a prime candidate. So if it has any effect at all, BSB feels that Philadelphia should get a shot.

For a tournament like this, game planning is crucial. I think MEM is a better representation for the USA PRO than us. Even though we just beat them, the two teams are really about equal. I think it's a little easier for monmouth to GP then HHW. We have more "resources" when it comes to that. Must be a pain only having 3 people doing GP's for the regular season, let alone scrims.

1. The consensus of the teams already in is to play during the season because everybody is focused on their own teams during the playoffs.

To make the time situation work for the people playing, everyone just schedules as they are able, but we ask the teams playing to play about once per week.

Ideally I think we'd all love to play after the league title games getting the 8 Pro Champs or 16 Pro Title Contenders to play, but that will be up to Bort. Personally, I'd love for him to make this an official tournament during the offseason to give people something to follow and keep interest high.

Joking aside, I dont know how I became the organizer this season. Hokieman ran it last season and we are using the format and rules we all worked out together last season. Somehow I got the lead in getting it going this season.

I'm not opposed to 16, but we've started getting games scheduled for this season using the 8 team format, so any expansion would have to be for next season.

That's fine by me. We all know you're lazy with 8 as it is . I'm curious as to who would represent USAPL though. Because it seems like this tourny is going to be played in the regular season this time around and HHW said they won't participate if that's the case.
