FYI there has been a change of owner in the team, so I will take on the tough task of getting the Musketeers back on track!

I've always had a lot of respect for Paris for maintaining their team for this long while so many better and worse teams have folded.

I think all Paris needs to do now is scour all the GLB forums and private forums and find the edge in gameplanning and player building. They all definitely need to be very, very active.

Gameplans and player builds are so much more important now than depth and high levels (which was all the rage in the first few seasons).

The other MAJOR thing that seems to separate the good teams from the bad teams is TEAM MARKETING.

Good game today Paris, very tough game and two horrible turnovers ultimately cost us the game...

Well we recoup and just keep fighting for that elusive first pro league win.

Guess it's just Rotterdam and us left over from the Season 1 WEPL Zeta oO

I stepped down as Owner of Paris to let Kongemeier be it, since he was much more active than me and acting like the true owner in the last 2 seasons anyway. I will of course stay in the team etc, it was just a much needed change in the backoffice, no change in the general direction of our path to the championship *erm*

I think this is the result of a VERY carefull recruitment by us, where we tried to get grown ups owner, or younger guys with a little maturity etc. I always tried to avoid a certain type of guys in the team, which I think was sometimes also bad for the results since we put little pression on ourself. On the other hand it was good for the franchise staying together...guess it's hard to get both (not impossible though).

Kongemeier is now 2-0 as owner, so I guess the game engine felt the change too, haha.

and the reykjavik aggies as well...

they were losing before Bort even implemented the "losing" feature.

UH sorry, right, completely forgot about the Scorgasm, guess I though you joined in season 2 ^^ And Reykjavik too...please don't hurt me ^^

Too bad that we see the new names when scrolling through the seasons on the start page of a team. Only way to see the old machtups is the team forum where we have a separated thread for about 90% of the games I guess, maybe even 95% ^^
