I still don't understand how we dropped two spots, when we win by that much against a team that obviously boosted against us.

FAT DADDY CA$H’S CORNER: Week 3!

9. Antwerp Annihilators
Last Week: 8 (-1)
The Antwerp defense looked helpless at times and was unable to get off the field on 3rd downs.

Week 3 Previews

Antwerp Annihilators (1-1) at Multiple Scorgasms (2-0)

Breakdown: After a poor defensive effort against the Roughnecks,

Antwerp’s question marks do not revolve around the offensive side of the ball. The Annihilator defense just couldn’t get off the field. This week the pressure will be on the defense to shore up the holes and make some plays.

Prediction: This is a tough game to call as I think both teams are pretty close as far as talent goes. Still, something has to be said for how consistent the Scorgasms’ offense has been this season. Multiple wins another close one, 30-29.

Great write up FDC and thanks for the extra motivation!

FDC needs to motivate you A LOT more than that.

Well for the first time since I started playing this game I really don't have a clue.

I gambled and lost by not swapping back down to AAA level at the start of this season... I honestly thought we would be more competitive than we are. I'm not sure we will even win against Porto at this rate. Its bloody embarrassing.

So yeah, just clueless.

Does anyone wanna come in and help me steady a sinking ship?

pretty sure youll win against porto.

my best advice is to be patient, work hard, and adapt to what you see on the field. i know it doesnt really help. but thats what we're doing so you might as well do the same.

Well look at the positive signs, what should you focus on at the moment?
Probably the defense at working on the coverage.
How has your secondary set their individual tactics up (Are the necessary players doing wrap-up tackling). How are your plays preforming?

Then look into scheduling scrimmages and see what works from there. There is no one formula that works for every team, just see what tactics compliment your builds.

Looking at a few of the bigger losses, I would also look at what advance equipment some of your players have and see how to improve that.

At the end of the day, if you have enough active determined players willing to experiment and see what works, you should be able to work through this crisis.

This is the best place to learn, stay at it, absolute worst case scenario is relegation to AAA with a stronger team and knowledge base than you started the season with and a sure fire Championship... good luck

i've got faith in you. i think a lot of the problem is that you team is outleveled a bit. with all the lvl 40's and knowledge of good builds up here it can be hard to keep up.

edit: sorry that wasnt to you brutus, you posted just before i could

Congrats Wembley, great job keeping our offense off the field. I had been wondering when our streak would break, guess this was the year. Now don't repeat that feat in the playoffs please!

It is about freaking time!

And you guys still made it more exciting than I wanted it to be, even with the lopsided time of possession.

FAT DADDY CA$H’S CORNER: Week 3!

Game of the Week: Alpha

Fightin’ Texas Aggies (0-2) at London Minotaurs (1-1)

Breakdown: Two of my pre-season playoff contenders find themselves slugging it out in what could be a make or break game for both. The Aggies are still trying to get their first win after falling short against Woodridge last week. The Minotaurs are also looking for their first (quality) win and a chance to prove they belong in WEPL.

The Aggies have shown they have no problem moving the football on anyone. They have had a problem converting some of their drives into touchdowns however. Texas will need a big game from their stud QB and will look to take shots on the London secondary that is still largely an unknown commodity. If Texas can convert more of their red zone opportunities this week, they could rack up an early lead. On defense, the Aggies front seven have to be drooling after watching Wembley pile up 6 sacks on the Minotaurs last week. The pressure forced 3 INTs and 3 fumbles – stats the Aggies hope to repeat.

For the Minotaurs it’s no secret they need to protect better. Whether that means leaving in their HBs to block more or calling shorter routes, they simply must find a way to keep Seneca Wallace upright this week. Defensively, London will be tested by the explosive Aggie attack. They must win the turnover battle and keep the Aggies one dimensional if they are going to pull this one out.

Prediction: This should be a fun game to watch and will undoubtedly tell us much about London’s prospects this season. I still think London has a chance to make a playoff push, despite how they looked against Wembley. But I’m going with the Aggies this week. Aggies win 48-20.

Glad the Minotaurs were able to win today's game - it feels good to get our first quality win in WEPL. VGG Aggies, good luck for the rest of the season

I think you'll be ranked higher after your win today ... damn. Good win.

I was waaaaay off on some of these picks this week! I don't think I've had a week this bad before.

Great week!

To be honest I was quite happy when I saw you abandoning the run in the 3rd quarter, sadly for us you still made a few key completions to extend those drives and could go back to running again.
