It appears that the efforts to reduce the effect of fast DEs in the off season was completely removed and the DEs were significantly enhanced even since the Scrimmage games.

Yup, the pass rush seems to have a significant improvement this season... our QB threw 5 INTs the whole of last season and yet 3 INTs in the season opener, in the face of a pass rush that sacked him EIGHT times. It's not as if our O-line is any worse than last year. It's going to be much harder for passing teams this year, that's for sure.

We did that, we also left in HBs and FBs in at times.. and in those cases it was the only way we got a clean pass off. But the most disturbing thing was how the elite DEs bounced once on a well built level 39 OT and hit or hurried the QB.
