Well its easy to have consistent quality at the top when there are about 5 power houses and none have played each other yet.
I think both conferences have VERY good top teams.
Everyone puts Alphas top as better than Zetas top for some reason. I dont get it. I have only seen two meaningful games between the two.
The Nites beat Tits for a championship (by only 3 pts.)
MM beat the Nites for a championship (by only 3 pts.)
and there are many teams on par with us in Zeta....so I think both conferences have GREAT quality at the top. I wouldnt say any is better. Zeta is just deeper, and that is not the fault of Alpha since they suffered through a couple late offseason guttings. In a couple of seasons...both conferences will be loaded.
I dont count any scrimmages between top teams as most are figuring out AI stuff. The first game of the season matchups dont mean much either as one conference might have a gutted team playing a powerhouse. So to say one conference is better than the other based of that isnt fair either IMO.
Both conferences are = until there is a champ.
Right now...Alpha owns those bragging rights.

Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not saying that there aren't kickass teams at the top of Zeta. Nites are a powerhouse. I just think that MM is significantly better than anyone else in either conference right now. I understand why you'd disagree with that, and that's fine. That's part of the problem of starting a thread about which conference is better in week 2 
Thats why I said I think both conferences are stacked. I couldnt tell you which is better at the top....honestly. I said right now it belongs to Alpha, since MM is the Champ. I always feel that way.
To say MM is significantly better than anyone is a bit of a stretch IMO. I respect them A LOT....but did you watch their two games against WS last season? The Alpha championship could have easily gone to WS. They also beat the Nites by 3 in the championship....so Im not sure they are "significantly" better than everyone. They are the cream right now....I definitely wont take that from them. I just think there are a few teams that can beat anyone on any given day. The Bomb Squad was the last team to beat MM, so I wouldnt count them out either.
We barely beat MTD in the Zeta championship so Im sure they would have given MM a good run last season in the Big game as well. I just dont write off anyone in this league. It is tough. I also stated in my post, I really dont see one conference being better than the other....one is just a little deeper. JMHO.
Oh yeah....MTD is better than MM, so I was told.
