We will be losing quite a few of our best players this offseason, which really sucks. Alas, life goes on and we will need to add some more depth as well going forward. So far it hasnt mattered except in the team ratings. But it will be increasingly important in the future me thinks.

yeah, gotta have depth, and it's getting harder and harder to find guys that will play backup even on a championship team.

Indeed, and you cant be one of those guys that promises starting jobs, then backs em up lol. What I will do I just recruit higher lvl guys and back them up with my own players, no biggie.

We have like 6 of us that are all RL friends, and combined we own most of the team, so that works out for us pretty well.

We are trying to own as much of our 2nd string as we can. I know for the most part I'm in favor of moving some of my starters to 2nd string if we can find someone better to replace them. Though I admit I'd probably need a LOT of convincing to give up my starting QB position.

When it comes to signing 2nd string players we hit the jackpot finding Mr. Train the night before our very first game. At the time I was just looking for a backup RB that would complement Darren Johnson's speed with some power. There was a level 1 out there named Mr. Train, that sounded good to me. He said he would boost and was OK with playing 2nd string. I messed up the energy settings for the first game and so he got literally every single carry in the 2nd half and surprised us all when at level 1 he actually did pretty well. The guy has the build and the stats to go start full-time for any number of teams but he's stayed around through all our one-and-done playoff years splitting carries with no complaints. Of course now he barely even counts as 2nd string, he and Darren both had exactly 288 carries this season.

Yup. We've got the only legit "Lightning and Thunder" attack I've seen in GLB. We are sporting TWO 2,000 yard backs.

Not so fast j0shle0. I just jumped in on this conversation but San Antonio had a 2 back system that rushed for over 4000 yards this season. My second back missed the 2000 yard mark by 13 yards.

It's true, seven teams in BBB #8 ran for over 4000 yards. Granted we did it the classic way, 2400 for one guy, 1600 for another, but still.

As much as I hate to be a bad sport... Something fucked up in that sim. Our QB has thrown ONE INT in 18 games, and he throws 2 in this one? Pretty fishy... No pun intended.
