1.) Boston Nighthawks - Solid team that gameplans well and can run it down your throat or pass it all over you if they want.

2.) Kalamazoo Coyotes - They have a way of squeezing out wins in close games and they have some of the highest leveled players in the game.

3.) Philadelphia Pushovers - A very solid team. I won't say much more because I am on it and anything I say will be biased.

4.) Detroit Demon Lions - An excellent team. Once the playoffs hit they assign the rest of their skill points and tear through you all MUWAHAHAHA! - at least that's the plan.

5.) Green Bay Maulers - A solid team that gameplans well but may not have enough to overcome the top teams in the league.

6.) Chicago Mustangs - The highest levels, the best builds, so what happened? That's what they find themselves asking all too often, and a marked improvement in gameplanning is needed.

7.) Washington Bullets - If the Coyotes have a knack for winning big games the Bullets have a knack for losing them. Still they gameplan fairly well and will pull out a big win here and there. What remains to be seen is if they can when the big games when it really counts.

8.) Doomsday Sin - They benefited early from an easier schedule and are now starting to come back down to earth. They gameplan well but may not have the players to win it all this year.

9.) Gridiron Rage - They have started to improve this year in the gameplanning department, but they have always pulled out a surprising win or two during the regular season so it remains to be seen whether they can beat top teams consistently.

Now take that grocery list off your bulletin board and slap this on!

If there is one thing DDL has proven over these past 4 seasons, they fucking suck in the playoffs.

Flames is correct.

Pay no attention to DDL.

We don't relish playing you in the 1st round, either.

My version of PO rankings, be them extremely speculative. Face it, none of us know for sure who is holding points, who isn't and who has been playing conservative, saving the big GPs for the POs. That said, here's my guesses

1) Boston...The flat out have the best overall lines, when considering quality and quantity, and they know how to get the most out of them.

2 A) Yotes...Solid, solid team in all aspects of the game

2 B) Philly...see above, as well as being willing to go all out on D

4 A) Mustangs...I suspect you'll see their GPs taken to a new level in the POs

4 B) DDL...They have the potential to be down right scary good. The only ? is which team will show up? Will it be the one that went through the regular season on auto pilot or the one that went 16-0 last season? My $ is on the 16-0 squad

6) Bullets...Make no mistake about it, the Bullets are a good team. Unfortunately, they have problems beating the great teams.

7 A) GB...A season or 2 away team that has had to rely on GPing to win. To bad for us, all teams GP hard in the POs. An early exit may be in our cards.

7 B) Sin...The nastiest 8th seed I've ever seen bar none.

Predictions:
DDL pulls an upset in round 1, Boston wins it all.

I am pretty sure DDL will have the 3rd or 4th seed and thus a first round upset will be impossible.

I'd love to hear how that is going to happen! You need two teams in front of them to lose and that is not going to happen...

Well in order to move up, we must first win against the first place team in the West, and there's only 3 teams we can move ahead of and they have to lose for each spot we move up, max of 3 spots. If all 3 of them win then we can't move up any spots.

Also, the 7th/8th seeds play some very beatable teams, so if we lose, we can easily drop back to the 7-8 spot.

This is how I think the standings will look after tomorrow.

Boston Nighthawks - 14-2
Kalamazoo Coyotes - 14-2
Philadelphia Pushovers - 12-3-1
Detroit Demon Lions - 11-4-1
Chicago Mustangs - 11-5
Washington Bullets - 11-5
Doomsday Sin - 11-5
Green Bay Maulers - 10-6

or

Boston Nighthawks - 14-2
Kalamazoo Coyotes - 14-2
Detroit Demon Lions - 11-4-1
Philadelphia Pushovers - 11-4-1
Chicago Mustangs - 11-5
Washington Bullets - 11-5
Doomsday Sin - 11-5
Green Bay Maulers - 10-6

If I'm wrong I'm wrong. It doesn't make any difference to me. I just looked at all the games and I feel pretty confident about these scenarios.

I, on the other hand, am pretty sure that South Bay is going to beat DDL. I'd be pleased if that's not the case, however.

The chance of that happening seems incredibly slim to me.

So the team that cant win the big game beats DDL a few days ago who I guess wasn't great then but as of tomorrow they will be great again? Am I following that correctly?

Just one correction from the scenarios above:

If DDL beats the South Bay Spartans and scores 325 points and the Pushover is shutout in their game, then no matter what the outcome maybe with the Pushover game (Pushover has a better points differential then DDL atm), and should the Mustangs and the Bullets also lose, then the best seating that the DDL can achieve is the 4th seed.

This is a very and most optimistic scenarios for DDL

These games would also indicate how strong or weak the East is when compare to the West.

No matter the outcome tomorrow, good luck to all Eastern Teams in tomorrow games

Tricon
