I'm still undecided...can any of you guys sway me one way or the other? I typically vote the same as South Otto, but I thought I'd open it up to you guys that I've grown to know and love.

well were fuct now. Hope y'all are ready to pay for his election funds, cuz he aint that rich. Never seen a presidential candidate get some much damn publicity in my life.
Gun rights - bye bye
Your paycheck - you'll get less than half your gross now
Was he even born here? If Arnold can't run, why can Obama?
But at least he wants to fix the BCS!!!
YAY!!!
Sense the sarcasm?

I wasn't terribly impressed with either candidate's political views but I did prefer McCain over Obama for the simple fact that McCain has the single most bi-partisan record of any member of the senate as well as a great tradition of getting the ball rolling on legislation of important reforms. Even when he's hamstrung and can't accomplish it perfectly he's willing to compromise which is something Obama's voting record proves he's never done. Also, as a service member I simply have more respect for someone who's experienced sacrifice. Obama has been pampered and guided his entire life. McCain could have easily gone the same route but he specifically chose to prove himself.
On top of that, Obama can mask true political leanings all he wants but, based purely on his voting record in the senate, he is the most liberal member and also one of the most partisan. He's not the uniter he claims to be.
That aside, neither candidate even remotely approaches my own political belief structure. I'm a Goldwater Republican who, after realizing that wing of the party is completely dead and buried, has since transitioned into a Libertarian.
As far as my Libertarian beliefs are concerned both major candidates are atrocious and what's even more pathetic is that the Libertarian candidate, Bob Barr, isn't even remotely Libertarian but a tried and true drug war veteran neo-con which makes me want to vomit on my nut sack.
I wrote in Ron Paul; too bad he didn't win.
