I think that was probably true in seasons 1 and 2. But I'll be honest, by mid-season last season we were definitely getting soft. And we are now struggling to figure out the way forward. The core is still there. But the team, me included, are having a hard time staying focused. These past 2 games have been good for us. We need to have consequences to our decisions. And 200-0 just doesn't get you focused.

I feel like I need to stick up for SD a little here... owner was my brother-in-law and the team was my idea to get our Fantasy League members together in the offseason... work/life balance coupled with seasonal strat changes and Hurricane Ike (missed stadium expansion due to no power) really nerfed us and was going to have long-term effects on our competitiveness ... we also had a couple GM's that took the liberty of trading themselves off the team - guys we know IRL... Hopefully someone can make this a better team for BBB#15.

We are very sympathethic to the gut-job this looks like but we were just flat-out overextended. Y'all are a great league and hopefully we meet in the Pro's someday.



Personally, I was never intending to bag on your team. I was just like wow, that team with the really monster offense is gone. Sucks to see you guys go. Good luck wherever you land.

Sorry to hear about all the problems. I totally understand about rl getting in the way in the aftermath of a hurricane. Been there done that.

I wish I were a better owner. But the team is really the guys. They have experience and take as much control of preperation as anything. They understood crappy pay at the beginning to get the stadium going so they could get paid later. (They're still under paid but we are much better) And they do their own planning.

I planned to be a better owner but the best laid plans of mice and men... The only meaningful contribution I've made to the team has been to fill in all the holes for players I couldn't easily find. I have to say my team mates rock, though.

Not giving as much attention to the league as I would like, I would say GwennA treats this league with such respect and pleasantry that she deserves kudos whether she's here or not. Thanks to the couple of you who brought me up.
Which is especially surprising, since I don't own the Hustlers and never have. That honor goes to Booster - who would definitely get a nomination from me were this one of the last few seasons. He's been a stellar owner, and what success we've had all starts there.

I do have the honor of having a few people from this league over on the team I do own in the new Canadian BBB's, which has helped me get to know some folks more.

Honestly though, as things stand, my vote would have to be split between the owners of the Shadowblades, Gremlins, High Rollers and Showboats - being part of the 2rd or occasionally 3rd tier teams for so long, then rebuilding season after season into the contenders they are, or are becoming takes serious dedication, whatever they say. The fact they've retained the guys they have speaks to their quality as owners.

Honorable mention to Salem's owner for the rebuild job he did on the Jersey Boyz.

Ton of deserving people though.

Payton and the Rushmores have always been my most respected club in the West. Very classy guys.

Gotta put one out there for my boy sgtjayb, owner of Gulf State Demons. By far, best owner of any team any of my players have been on.

Ok, so I am going to go out on a limb here and say what we all know is the truth, BBB 15 is made up of the best guys around here on GLB. The owners are great, the players are great, we are all great lol. Seriously though, it is surprising how well everyone gets along in this league. A lot of smart guys that for the most part are modest, minus nike-joe.....HA, atleast until this season anyways. We have scranton to thank for that. If thinks do get switched up this next season it will be a shame to split up such a tough league.
