strength and catching are not major attributes. But I think they make good additional attributes.

have you purchase basic equipment and are you upgrading at level 8, 16, etc?

Of course, Dee also has a +1 vision +2% intercept chance that I will be upgrading over time and is not equipped.

Dee now has some decisions he can make. I am sitting on 21 SP's.

Should I 2nd cap speed, in which case my next step would be to 2nd cap agil.

or

Should I continue capping attributes such as vision and jumping?

I want Dee to be a very well rounded CB by Level 32. If I go the route of 2nd cap spd/agil, it would likely mean no SA's until at least Lvl 32 now.

I am much more concerned with Dee's attributes than SA's.

I think the best long term decision is to 2nd cap spd/agil.

The 2 softcap for spd/agil is where I'm going with my level 17 corner. I have a level 35 cb and I can attest to the fact that I should have brought his spd/agil to the 2 cap as soon as possible rather than waiting. Bringing those two to the 2 cap while training jumping and catching is the way to go, I think.

After considering the best long term plan for Dee,I have decided to 2nd cap spd/agil as my next focus.

Spd/Agil will always be my two highest attributes. It makes more sense to 2nd cap them ASAP to take advantage of the most natural leveling I can get.

I'm not really concerned with how high my pass bar goes.

The point is there is no guide for building a good CB around. I am helping out new players by giving them a simple guide to follow.

Totally correct. Theres no 1 way to build a good player, thats what is a lot of fun about GLB.

IMO, CBs can go 1 of 2 routes.

1-Cap speed/agility/vision at 48 and begin working on SAs to supplement the rest of the abilities a CB needs to keep up with good WRs.
2-Cap speed/agility @ 61 and vision at 48, working on attributes like jumping/catching to good numbers and saving SAs until you reach lvl 30+.

I have CBs of high lvls who I have gone both ways with. The CB whom is like example 2, is lvl 28 right now, I made absolutely 0 mistakes and his build is still not 'finished'.
Either way you go, the builds take dedication, but right now the edge goes to the CBs under example 1. Though my example 2 CB is getting steadily better with every lvl and will prolly turn out to be my best CB ever, and that sais alot.

No CB build can(or should) be 'finished' until atleast lvl 32. CBs need alot of things to be successful.

your 2nd cb is a 28...interesting seeing as you have a lvl 32 and a lvl 19 CB.

1) Take Agility to 48
2) Speed -> 48
3) Vision -> 48
4) First Step & Change Direction to 2, Super Vision & Shutdown Coverage to 4
5) Stamina -> 30
6) Jumping -> 48
7) SV -> 6
8) Agility -> 60
9) SV -> 8
10) Speed -> 60, redistribute equipment to keep Speed around 80, rest going into Agility
11) SV -> 10, SC -> 6
12) whatever else you want to do, you'll be lvl 35-40 by this point, and an awesome CB most of the way.

Use Training to work on stats that you're not dumping points into, but also Tackling, Strength, Catching & Confidence. A good goal would be Tackling/Strength/Catching all min 25 and Confidence min 20 by lvl 25.

All SAs are natural/base values BTW, so don't count the +1 from custom.

The are 100's of level 30 + CB's that do fine with just a 39 bar.

Dee will have a very high bar because he is going to be focusing on attributes over SA's.
